ive been snowboarding for bout a 3 years now usually when your going down a hill, keep your knees bent so in the event you hit a bump or something its like you have suspension. just a tip :)

Actually if I'm honest I have no idea..This year was the first year I've snowboarded, and to date I've only snowboarded about about 5 days. I made a ramp on the hill in our yard and I was trying to land the jump. Thats why I said landing is hard. I did actually do it finally but it took some practice. I'de like to get better at it though, cause its fun....Sorry about not knowing much about it.
Can't wait till the season starts so I try my new board.

just a tip i wouldn't go around bragging about what you can do better, because you might get more chances to snowboard than most people

@BerzerkxBreton It all depends on how quick you can pick up the learning curve. I also surf, longboard, and wakeboard. if you do any of those boarding sports or have done any of them, they go hand in hand with snowboarding. Again it just all depends on how long it takes you to get your balance and probably most importantly your heel-stops and toe-stops. Once you get those down, you'll be carving the mountain with your buddies.

this is the reason i need a better lens for my camera- the one week ski season for the snowboarders! started off skiing and spent about 3 hours just sitting taking photos of all these boarders could of spent all day!
@BerzerkxBreton it takes a couple days. a few hours then black diamond runs is a load of BS. dont listen to that. itll take a couple days cause you gotta get a feel for your weigh and shit. but its worth the falling.
@BerzerkxBreton at first its awkward to get your balance but after a couple runs you're fine. My first day snowboarding i started on the bunny hill and by the third hour i was going down the black diamond runs with my friends.
lol duluth. party and snowboard, thats about it. im in minneapolis, so its a bit of a hike to get to spirit. usually settle for the park at buck hill most days if i dont want to drive somewhere.

You guys should read Todd Richards's book "P3, pipes, park, powder". i know most you don't like reading but neither did I until i read this book. Its really good.... oh yea and uh, nice video :)

I use to ski, but then i took and arrow to the knee, and injured my cerebral cortex of the knee. after that i continued to ski, but my knee got sore so i started snow bording. :D
what bballstar415 is exactly right except for 1 thing. Surfing is the complete opposite of snowboarding. surfing uses your front foot and snowboarding is your back foot to turn.
