Technically Suzdal is a town. A village tends to carry a population of up to 5000 residents, Suzdal has a population of around 10,000 residents making it a small town.

This was one of my favorite places to visit in Russia, the ancient city of Suzdal, located about 30 minutes from Vladimir, about 119 miles from Moscow.

Beautiful town btw, I love when they preserve the old buildings and make these cultural sites.
Also are you still stuck in Russia? Do people talk about he Ukraine war there? Or is it mostly government propaganda?

When I started following you, yiua were very much into learning Japanese. I've recently started looking at learning Russian, so I'm curious if you are fluent in Russian or have a good grasp of the language.
Thanks for the wonderful video 🙏🏾🇬🇧

Looks like you and I had a similar path! Haha
I wasn’t trying to study Russian at all, it just kinda happened that I needed it to exist 😅 so I did sort of a lite version of the heavy handed study I did for Japanese, but combined more of Matt’s approach this time just to test it out and see what I think since it’s hard to review something that you’ve already learned to a high degree. So far I know like 1500 words and phrases? I can understand most speech around me as I focused vastly more on input than output so my speaking is still broken and slow. But I can communicate in most daily instances ☺️ but my understanding is actually even surprising to me. Like maybe 70-80% comprehensible for topics I don’t know a lot of vocabulary about and 90-100% for what I do?

@@ThatsMyChad Thank you Chad. If you can document your Russian learning journey at any time I'll be watching. Take care!

Thanks for another awesome video! I only wish we had a little more time with each place and saw more of it.

I really could make videos that are an hour long on each place, but I think my audience would never click on them 😅 but it’s my dream to someday make very in-depth documentary styled videos on different places and topics.
