The snatchblock in that configuration doesn't give you double pull at the socket of the winch, it will pull double the load behind the snatch block, if you connect the block on the vehicle you want to recover and dead end the socket off a tree you will get double the pull.
Graham did realise this after he said it 😂

Airing down would help you guys immensely achieving maximum tyre footprint and grip on this type of terrain. Get them ARB compressors working to re inflate after if you have the adapter? Liking the vids guys 👍
We where all down at 18psi on this, bluecy and Dora both have ARB compressors with having air lockers 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

We use a mix of paper maps. Os app , view ranger and Tw2 .

I think you should just rename this lane "Big Badi" because lets be fair its a beast of a lane to drive up! What happened with the towed disco, any news on its injury?
She blew the front diff, pinion snapped clean off and bounced around, she's back on the road
@@td5adventuresuk I thought it was. A big step like that puts a toll on the drive line for sure. I think it was.mentioned yours is an auto D2 as well?
@@mikeb53 yes matey it is, looking at converting it to a manual in the near future
@@td5adventuresuk I know lots do that, but IMHO and experience its unnecessary unless you specifically want to start adding on 37" tyres, stage 3 remaps and the like. In which case the R380 does better for sure.
I have a stage 1+ remapped auto Td5 D2 with a heavy duty V8 flexplate and the V8 Torque converter. Its also packing an uprated oil cooler from allisport and its amazing on and off road quite frankly.
Entirely your call, but its a good option and makes for a really good drive.
I'll make a note of that may try that route instead to be fair, cheers fella!

How much lift has conners truck got ?
She’s on a 2” britpart super gaz kit and 2” body lift, so 4” total 😁

Tbf 2” is mostly fine , unless ya gonna try the tougher stuff , hence the reasons for big lifts and tyres on ours

The winch, as said it the video by graham, should have been checked prior to the trip, as you’ll see the winches on our 3 discovery’s worked… well besides bens rope coming out 👀
