I think Jelly is in the right in this situation, however he has just been severely misunderstood by Slogo who didn’t really care about what Jelly had to say and just jumped to the conclusion that “Jelly is a dictator”, although I think he is just trying to bring the island back to life. After watching Slogo’s video, I had found that he was trying to persuade Crainer into joining his “cult” and defeat Jelly.
