The fact he used infested cobblestone to craft a dispenser
It makes this video funnier and funnier
yeah i know
It's going to dispense the item and a _silverfish_...
I tried 🥲
ikr lol
He had flashes of red text above it every time it hovered over it, and they seem to all be different, but I didn't get to read them all lol
The worst part about the stairs thing is, that if the crafting recipe would be changed to just 3 blocks for 4 stairs, we would actually get all the material crafted to stairs, since one quarter of every block is missing in a stair and a stair is made out of three quarters.
Or just increase it to 8 per craft
Exactly
Totally! That would be so much more reasonable
Yes, but you also have to consider Steve is a bad crafter, so he uses up extra material to get the job done.
@@Knarfy so the frog-bucket thing, I guess the frog fit to the bucket , but If u do it in irl the frog just jump out, so maybe this was behind.
Fun fact: in spectator mode you can interact with fletching tables, it opens up the crafting table interface for just a fraction of a second.
huh
WHAT
@@ryanbauman8966i’ve not tried it, but apparently if you go in spectator and right-click a fletching table, for a short moment, less than a second, it shows crafting table menu
9:51 the "fail safe" is made in case you give a skeleton a sword, because like zombies, they can pick up your stuff
gold is actually fully edible, i mean it might be hard to take a bite out of a full ingot, but once you get it into a more edible form like foil, gold leaf, or powder, you can eat as much as you want with the only side effect being a sparkly toilet bowl
and probably crippling debt
It also has no nutritional value, so although it’s not poison; a gold diet would kill you no matter how full you felt…
@@It-b-Blair Gold coated food wouldn't tho, although it still doesn't make sense that coating a carrot in gold gives it more nutritional value
So you’re telling me I could totally eat an irl golden apple?
@@themysticarcher3313 Yeah you could absolutely eat an apple covered in gold! Although I don't think it would give you fire resistance...
I like to imagine that the zombies just kinda trip and shuffle around, sometimes seeming like their stomping. So it could make sense that they trigger the skulk more than players, because they’re clumsier.
LOL honestly I like this explanation
I was also thinking that🙂
@@Knarfythey also wont care about how they present themselves as zombies, us humans we walk proud and more quiet, bc it wouldnt be nice to stomp around. As a zombie? WHO CARES your ALR DEAD!
He also groans wich is pretty loud
But the zombie _does_ give the same signal strength as the player??? The vibrations for every mob's footsteps are the same; the signal strength of 14 shown in the video was caused by it sensing the zombie spawning; and the signal strength of 7 is caused by it sensing the damage the zombie takes.
14:46 Prior to the recipe getting removed, you could eat an apple covered in 8 blocks (72 ingots or 8 cubic meters) of gold and feel even better than eating one covered in 8 ingots
yeah, the amount of times i've tried to craft an enchanted golden apple after the recipe was removed, is more than one
Immersive Weathering mod adds iron rusting if I remember correctly. Amongst other fun things. When you combine it with Serene Seasons mod it becomes like ‘realistic’ nature.
I'd like to think the only reason you can't put frogs in buckets is because the jump out of them
That’s a fun reason lol. I like that
You can also eat gold stuff, like it is just very expensive.@@Knarfy
Actually, if you boil it very slowly...
@@rockstarpunkthegamer2631edible gold flakes exist and they're not that expensive
True, but I am talking about an apple covered in several of these gold flakes would be expensive.@@DiamondDepthYT
9:39 So, fun fact: Bedrock Edition has a mechanic where skeletons will switch to a melee attack when they're fully submerged in water (since arrows lose all their momentum in water).
This is true
also the reasion skeletons have melee attack because they didn't use bows the first time they were in the game
HOLD ON! I RECOGNIZE THAT USERNAME!
Strays also do this, and their melee attacks inflicts slowness aswell, which implies that the effect doesn't only come from the arrows that they use, but are a part of their biology too.
I remembered them also having a melee without being in water and you just need to be close to them.
Knarfy's rage at the dispenser is hilarious. The fact that he didn't realize he was using infested cobblestone makes it even better.
I tried 😭
And failed ;)
5:04 Zombies actualy make more noise because they "speak", you know, the "urhhh", so this one actualy makes sence
Subscribe for more confusion 😛
Also yes. It was infested cobblestone.
HI! I'm santa
hi@@ItsSHATT_Memes
i am here at 12 minutes, i will return
yea lol
yay@@ProGamer_69420
With how strong Steve is, I'm pretty sure swimming up a waterfall is a piece of cake
Yep. dude can run and jump while carrying thousands of pounds of cobblestone. He can also jump without bending his legs.
You make a convincing argument 👌
Water buckets also have Infinite water
Dispensers are made with a bow because when they were out, there was no crossbows and players adopted the recipe with a bow so changing it would just be confusing. Mojang trys to not to change recipies a lot when they are fully out because old version old recipie, new version new recipie. 2 things to remember instead of 1.
you can’t craft the dispenser because you were using infested cobblestone.

idea! you should be able to trade with witches for potions, perhaps there is an item like the piglins that you can give them and they will trade you a potion based on the item after a bit of time. i could see them actually brewing them if a brewing stand is near by
That’s smart!
I really want some kind of connection between witches and frogs, for brewing potions, to spawn with witches huts or to be added as a fun spell... Maybe as a gift to befriend the witches?
@@YourDad-dh6fjI'm not sure if they still do but I'm pretty sure back then witches huts had a brewing stand in them.
This makes Mojang look even shittier for "fixing" the copper bulb to be the same as other blocks when the community specifically liked that it was different, but I digress.
To be fair, I feel like falling onto the dirt ground would hurt less than falling into a metal cauldron and breaking all your bones. Maybe it should negate damage from a short fall, but a long fall would turn your legs inside out.
17:32 I have a reason for that in older version of Minecraft Minecraft goes much higher speed and have the features of Minecraft getting derailed but some players started to say that there rollercoaster will not work with this mechani and that's they have less speed
Knarfy, you were using *_Infested_* Cobblestone, not regular cobblestone
*Edit:* How is this already at least 188 likes?! Thanks btw
I wonder how this had been the most liked comment on this video
Lol almost 69 comments already 💀💀💀
Change my mind
Yea
The editors tell is telling it to knarfy
Yes.
Nice, 69 likes today, change my mind.
Casual narfy mistake
In Terraria, the reason why torches and campfires dont extinguish naturally is explained in game. Its because of the "Torch God". So maybe something similar is in minecraft? Some unknown entity or force of nature responsible for keeping torches lit.
17:56
As someone who watches camman18 alot I've actually learned there was originally supposed to be a more realistic model for minecarts, and also make them faster
But according to devs it wasnt that fun to have trains derail so they just scrapped it and made mine carts slower
0:54 it makes sense that water in cauldrons doesn’t break your fall because when you fall you also hit the iron part of the cauldron.
Knarfy you inspired me to make longer youtube videos, like the dumb ideas (which i tried recreating because it was so much fun lol)
Thank you, Knarf man!
3:20 You used INFESTED cooblestone instead of regular
why did the "boing!" sound effect make me laugh so hard when the frog jumped at 2:22
at 4:03 he tries to craft a dispenser and he failed because he used infested cobblestone in stead of normal cobblestone
bro thinks minecraft will ever have any sense 💀
Yeah nothing will make sense in Minecraft
bro sense minecraft is sense on minecraft sense man is minecraft
@@isaacunknown3480what are u on 💀💀
💀💀💀
What doesn’t make any sense to me was when he was trying to craft a dispenser with infested Cobblestone
3:42 u need a cobblestone not infested cobblestone Which it doesn't make sense
There’s cooking shows where chefs LITTERALLY sprinkle their dishes with papery gold and the judges come out withOUT constant diarrhea for life :)
Fletching table idea: it is used to upgrade your bow, like a long bow using strings and sticks or even arrows like, stone arrow, wood arrow, or even diamond and upgrade it into netherite arrow using the smithing table
The sculk thing does kinda makes sense, I mean, think about it, how much noise does Steve actually make? A zombie constantly groans and moans, while Steve just... exists
Tru
bruh, he kept using infested to cobblestone to craft, LOL 3:55
Love how he didnt realize he was trying to craft a dispenser with infested stone
You just made me doubt Minecraft in so many ways. Iron rusting would be a cool feature. Grea vids, Knarf. Just keep getting better!
The dispensers having bows make sense because it takes longer to pull back a crossbow and unlike a bow your can't rapid fire it
Also because dispensers were added before crossbows
@@ShellofIron thank you, I was looking for this comment, looks like no one remembered this
Tbf the skulk sensor was detecting the zombie grunting and taking damage which might have been "louder" than footsteps or landing after jumping
How to make a dispenser:
8 Cobble, 1 Bow, 1 Redstone.
How Knarfy makes dispensers:
8 INFESTED Cobble, 1 bow, 1 Redstone.
I like to think the frog does fit in the bucket, but it jumps out every time you try to pick it up
Even though Minecraft is based in the medieval age and has magic, there are various technological things, like pistons, redstone, observers, now the auto rafters, Minecraft that is on the medieval age is like going through an industrial update,
Extra; you can make infinite water with just two bucket, like watch how much water just one bucket has, and that would mean that Steve carries infinite weight also with just 2 buckets.
Water can also infinitely flow
2:39 thats so annoying because the tadpole bucket is shorter 1 pixel than regular bucket
I love how the place near all of this testing sort of evolved into some hodge podge of things
17:03 honey i shrunk the chests
As some may already know torch did used to extinguish in a version of the game. It might have been and April fools update.
Also minecraft minecarts are realy slow in comparison, you basically go the same speed when you run.
Nothing better than a Knarfy video on a Saturday morning 🗣️🔥
late afternoon / early evening for me
*HI*
1:02 the reason why the water disappears it’s because it turns into steam so it makes sense
1:50 the smithing table used to be a way to get netheriate armor which was not possible to make in the crafting table but, I don’t know why Mojang made a new table for it and you are right in that the smithing table got a new use! Sorry if this sounds condescending
The cauldron is a nit waterloggable block, you just change the model and the texture, so theres really nonwater in there, its like a piece of cardboard painted to look like water
Smart 💀💀
But water in a cauldron can put out fire
@@EpicGamer-lo8uq its a coded feature mainly for the nether
4:51
zombie:"AAAAARRRGHH"
At 12:00 you could have non moving rusted Iron golems in abandoned villages
Yeah and all iron stuff like iron swords etc
Skeletons have a melee attack because they use it when underwater. But I still love the content Knarfy
I think blocks just get compressed when you break them, so they're just smaller until you add air or something when you place them and they get bigger again
Inspired by your infested-cobblestone accident, you should make a crafting recipe that creates an infested dispenser that has chance to spawn a silverfish.
LOL smart
That's actually a fun idea x)
0:51 i see the point people make but you are still landing on metal, there isnt a soft ground under it to break you fall
but if you place metal on the floor where you land you still survive
Thank you Mr.knarf! your videos make me smile :)
I only thought about this after you talked about rust on iron, but it'd be cool if when you hurt the rusty iron golem or break rusty iron, you get tetnis which is just like poison or something.
fletching table is how we should make the potion arrows and stuff (maybe better bows)
Actual idea I've had for the fetching table
It can be used to disassemble tools (ex you put a diamond sword in, you get 1 stick and two diamonds) and if you reassemble the weapon it gives a tiny bit of endurance back. To avoid this from being too op I imagine it wouldn't work on enchanted tools.
Thats a cool idea but that doesn't relate to fletching at all
@Happy1speed fair. I honestly had no idea how you could use a mechanic based solely around the basic items a fletcher gives
@@not-callum It would be cool to see some archery additions when the table gets a use. Only thing I can think of is that making arrows on the fletching table gives you more for your resources you spend.
We need more of the "Block Goblin" from your Pehkui Mod :)
To be real, i wish you could buy potions from villagers
the new copper doors for minecraft 1.21 act like wooden doors, not iron doors, which i feel like makes no sense cause while maybe not as heavy as an iron door, id like to see you try opening a door made out of solid copper
i think as long as it doesnt scape the ground even a very heavy door could be opened by hand. I just assume the iron door has some kind of lock built in
12:18 "I'm slowly going insane"
Are you sure you haven't already gone?
To make the fletcher table useful they should make use of it to craft tipped arrows the right way by placing arrows first in the crafter then placing string next to it in item slot then potion of choice in next to allow for the out put of tipped arrow of choice makes sense allowing the new way to craft tipped arrows
16:45 wait lol crafting chest only needs 8 planks not 9 planks.
Who is this newbie kid? And how is she crafting chests with 9 planks lmao? 😂
I love how he didn’t notice it was infested cobble stone
the dispenser thing probably mostly has to do with the fact that dispensers predate crossbows by like...a lot, and changing the recipe would be bad because it's been like that since the block was added and it's not broken so it doesn't need to be fixed
LOVE THE EDITING!!!
10:04 HOW?
He has mods
@@Lightningmcblue what mods are they?
@@clueless-personI believe it’s called shape shifter or smth
Maybe with the fletching table, you can upgrade bows with neither its and stuff. Maybe in a mod if MC doesn’t do it
Biggest Amethyst Geode IRL: 3.7 meters high
Amethyst Geode MC: 13+ meters high
To be fair about the last Minecart one, in one snapshot Mojang did make them faster and added a mechanic that if they were going too fast and took too many sharp turns they would derail.
Unfortunately it never saw the light of day because people complained about it ruining their minecart rollercoasters... so we're stuck with slow minecarts forever now.
1:11 technoblade :3
You know it's a good day/night when Knarfy uploads
Its just funny how in the skeleton and pillager section, bro just turns into a pillager. You never fail to make me laugh!
15:07 actually, steve isn't 2 full blocks, he is a little shorter making him exactly 6 foot. The arm part is still true though
The fact that you could open a chest with another chest on top, yet you can't open a chest with a block on top.
The worst part about stairs is fact, that they WAS crafted of three wooden planks, yet somewhy, microsoft decoded to change crafting recipe, but leave result 4
5:40 I think it’s because the skulk sensor distinguishes and summons on threats and the player very well could ruin the ancient city so it summons the warden on us as well but not as much as a threat as a zombie as zombies could potentially kill whatever or whoever made the sensors.
In old Minecraft Skeletons weren’t supposed to have bows and were just gonna be faster running Zombies if you let that Skeleton move you’ll notice that.
Fun fact, torches used to go out but players didn't like that feature. So Mojang changed it, so now torches don't make any sense.
You know it's a good day when Knarfy uploads
Hey, can you make so the fletching table upgrades bows and crossbows like the smithing table?
7:33 it’s The Boy™️
How are villagers supposed to give you trades if their arms are forever crossed? What make it weirder is that they can also hold items with their crossed arms.
You could use powdered snow as a redstoneless elevator, given you have the boots and a way to tell which floor is which
Edit: 5:04 is the timestamp area I am referencing
The one thing that always got me was if you craft lets say a helmet, chestplate, leggings or boots with iron that’s essentially and obviously using ingots, (5 for helm, 8 for chest, 7 for leggings and 4 for boots) but the one thing that doesn’t make any sense is if you smelt either one of the armor pieces you get 1 iron nugget
i feel like they should make the fletching table help you to make custom arrows and bows
The edit was table since my keyboard got rid of the word "table"
minecraft is made with java
obviusly it's illogical
1. The fact that when turtles die by lightning they drop a bowl, but if they get oofed in any other way they only drop a turtle helmet (weird)
2. Copper doesn't oxidize in the nether or the end, so technically theres no oxygen for steve to breathe. Yet he survives just fine in those places and still drowns in normal water
going back near 8:24, steve swims slower in horizontal planes of water versus vertical. i found that interesting.
The fletching table should be used to upgrade your bow, maybe like how you can make diamond (and other kinds) of bows in mods.
about the crossbow dispenser thing dispensers were added before crossbows which is why they are not included in the dispenser recipe
Iron doesn't rust because its rustproof iron. But seriously when it was added, there was nothing that aged in minecraft so it was same with that. They made copper oxidize because copper had very few uses and that would add more uses.
It would be cool if the fletching table becomes a schematic table for attachments for bows and arrows
for the dispencer, the bow is auto drawn back. this is also why they can shoot so fast. crossbows take longer to charge
Fun fact:the fletching table will hopefully get a use, bcuz if go to spectator mode and right click on the fletching table it will pop a crafting grid for less than a sencond(idk if it got patched up in newer versions but still try ir out :))
3:09 the editing makes me happy, hearing "boing" when a frog jumps. 🤣
4:03 "infected cobblestone" that would be hecking funny if it worked, and shoots silverfish 😂
7:58 You're more salmon then a minecraft salmon 😆
13:30 Yet cant jump one block fences and mobs cant cross minecart tracks (sometimes they can but normally not)
16:15 Furnace would be 3rd place, blast furnace 2nd place and in 1st place, torch.
The Cleric trades do make sense since you can craft potions with the ingredients you receive. Essentially they trade your stuff for their spare ingredients.
i think the skeletons train very hard like they’re the assassins or (slightly more effective) police of minecraft while pillagers are just people who like weapons and hurting people so they have no reason to train and if they have no weapon they’re like 🧍🏾♀️
