I didn't like Rajesh khanna at my young age because I was a huge fan of Amitabh and I used to think that Rajesh is Amitabh's competitor...so there was a conflict in thought....but today at the age of 48, I realise how big a superstar Rajesh khanna was....his romantic and emotional charm is incomparable...when I see this song or Ek ajnabee haseena se, I get mad.....no one in Bollywood can ever bring that melancholic feeling....Kaka ji you love in my heart now...no doubt, the first and original superstar of Bollywood

Everyone talks about Kishor da, Rajesh Khanna, R. D. Nodoubt they are legend but dont forget Anand Bakshi. See every single words deep meaning, not a single word can be replaced. And one more thing, we dont know that. The guitar piece was actully different than in the song. During rehearsal guitarist Bhanu Gupta played wrong chord than expected, everyone laughed but not RD. Genius RD kept same chord notaion in the song. Today it is famous for 'Million Dollaar Mistake'❤️. Famous American paiter Bob Ross who was fan of Indian music himself stated about it "It wasnt a mistake, but it was a sweet accident"
