I did a few fans in my last john Deere tractor. The design up in the roof with the air conditioning in the same space caused it to corrode and go every couple years. Some of these engineers need a kick in the 🥜. 👍
Morning BP, the cab filters on my Maxxum 125 are the same as yours on your T6. Seems like they are always plugged with dirt. Thanks for showing us how to change the cab fan.
Check it with an Ohm meter for continuity on the thermocouple. It's open circuited if it only works on high. The stopped up cabin filter is probably the cause for it going bad. I see this a lot in automotive applications go bad due to restricted cabin air filters. Nice job BP!
I was trying to remember what year but I had the first year GMC put heater filter in...I was into GMC dealership 3 or 4 times they say fan is fine or AC is nothing wrong...usually service myself but just stopped at Jiffy lube in winter...they came walking in & asked when last time cab filter changed IT was so FULL of flies and just BLACK with dirt...they didn't want too, but i told them put old filter in box, I wanted keep to go show them at GMC & then showed me how to change...such a mickey mouse deal had to take 2 bolts out then pry apart enough to get filter out & was NOT in owner's manual that had filter...Funniest thing was I took filter into GMC dealership...they had me show them where was at...LOL...then 2 places I worked showed them why didn't have good air in pickups !!! But with new filter fan was ok.
@@bcpfarmandtrucking6560just one of those morning’s. Lol. Been fight the flu since Saturday afternoon, so napped a bunch yesterday evening after supper. Wide awake now.
Good day. Wonder if my big blue has an internal filter some where. Fan is going like crazy. Yet theres hardly any wind in the cab. I did replace the fan motor. $685
@@bcpfarmandtrucking6560 I got it out. What a miserable prick of a job, especially when the power sear doesn't move. Then Mazurs in yorkton sends me the wrong blower motor, life gets so very fun. Haha
@bcpfarmandtrucking6560 yes. Absolutely horrible. This t7 power seat hasn't worked in years. The service tech was out to look at it and said a new one is needed. Damn near worth more then the tractor

Great job BP, the glory after a job like this is the moment you see it works, well done

Should have one
Any tricks to getting the whole blower motor housing out? Doing mine on the t7.270 today. Looks like a horrible job
I'm going to guess it's mounted in the same spot as my tractor and it's a bit of a bag
You have to remove the whole blower fan housings plastic first with blower in it you can't get the blower out any other way as far as I know

@ssfamilyranch9826 your mazer parts is like mine then and service is worse...seat in mine is all manual

Kubotas have there’s up in the roof we had kubota put a whole brand new one in are’s and a brand new roof to last year
I'm a little surprised that there's is in the roof...that the old way for everyone else
@@bcpfarmandtrucking6560 I don’t know maybe it’s better
I've done worse... None are easy.
Cab filter should be serviced a bit more often.. anymore, we neglect ours too.. but not quite that much..
The inside cab filters I get for the T6-175 from new Holland doesn’t come with the cover foam piece you had. Outside cab filters have foam.
@johnjohnson65 first one I ever got with foam cover...never had it before
👍👌❤️🇨🇦,
Those, cab fans Ha been a problem in farm tractors and ind loaders for over30 years they are shit
