They’ve been at the top of my wrapped since 2017 for all but 2023 (Futurebirds took em out, I did a lot of work in my garage that summer) and they will definitely be #1 again this year. I think Chris Acker will take #2. The lyrics are SO good, they have so many callbacks to their other songs in this
This one is the heviest on Mend. Apparantly this and fifth temple are the heviest, but this is still on top. Another they said is somewhat heavy is kaleidoscope. Also.. probabbly softer than the architect... "pearl in the dead sea" ssems to be "electronicish" for example. Im expecting pherennial philosophy and humble ledger all the way. And im here for it!
Yeah, I really don't mind if it's all-around more soft. I think I'm more okay with it knowing Eviscerate and Mend are really meant to be listened together as a packaged deal. Can't wait for the actual dual album with the bonus tracks. Fifth temple is definitely my most anticipated from the track-listing from what I can remember.
My favorite band so im support every "reactor" of it. Keep it up man! 🔥

Hell yeah!
Yesss the lore in the lyrics is just a whole other thing to dive into. Love music with so much sustenance, haha.

I’m hoping more caustic prayer, empty gardens pretty much the architect!
