You look great, by the way! I love a good full coverage foundation for work - as a teacher I do not get any time to freshen up and I need my foundations to be proper work horses! My favourite is Chanel's Ultra Le Teint Liquid Foundation, it lasts all day without looking dry - cold weather here in Scandinavia, so most matte ones dry me out. I tried wearing the No 1 foundation to work a few times, but sadly it didn't even last till lunch time. I also love another foundation that I don't ever see anyone talk about, however, this foundation blew me away: It is the Elizabeth Arden Flawless Finish Skincare Foundation - it lasts all day, makes me look younger (in my 40s) and covers well. Such a hidden gem! So, I'd rather have one thin layer of a full coverage foundation than 2 layers of medium/light coverage 😊Thanks for your insights and relaxing videos!

I’m 61 😮😮 I actually have dry skin (Not to bad) although most don’t agree , but I love the dew and glow. Light coverage. I stay away from wrinkles with any product tho. I used to smoke. Bad girl I know, but wrinkles around mouth I don’t put foundation there. And I don’t have a ton around eyes. But I also don’t wear foundation around eyes

Ali, great video. I prefer a light to medium coverage foundation, with a natural to velvet matte finish. Nothing to dewy for me, it just emphasises my wrinkles. 😅

Good morning Allison....although I am literally twice your age your advice and your choices coincide with my beliefs and tastes! I have been a skincare junkie since my late twenties and not to sound immodest, it has served me well...I've gone to the same spa for facials etc for over 40 yrs and they too have advised me well. I was using Clayton Shagal products for years until my spa replaced them with products from a company called Eltraderm. The range for collagen products is far more extensive and I have found the results to be significantly better. The line offers an effective elastin product as well. Thanks for your expertise!!

Amazing!!! I am 53 and I am luxury cosmetic junky for 30 years. Also, I am a monthly facial adept since I was 22! I used to go twice a month to Georgette Klinger!! I remember when glycolic peels came out in the early 1990s ( MD Formulations ) and it was naturally made from anions !!!!
There was not too much breast implants, which I never had and today my French bra size is 36G ( lol)
After the glycolic peels facials came other peels, but I remember to have had microcurrents facials every week!!!!
Then came microdermabrasion which I never liked it.
I could go on on and on
Oh, I am 53. No botox. No fillers and not yet facelift; even though I will have a lift but it is not even near a needed emergency yet !!!
By the way my new handsome hubby is 2 years younger than my daughter

Have you tried the Hous Lab foundation? It’s very, very similar to Nars light reflecting .
Hi, I have house of labs foundation, it’s full coverage, last all day, but you need to prep you skin good not to have dry patches

I enjoy powder foundatio on days when I want to do a quick face. I switch between Bare Minerals and MAC's Studio Fix powder foundation. Both provide full coverage. One difference I notice between the two is Bare Minerals is a heavier or thicker powder. I think I might give Chanel's No. 1 a try. How does it compare to the water fresh tint, which I already own and enjoy?
It definitely has more coverage than the Water Fresh Tint.
Where does the Tom ford matte foundation fit here?
