I’m glad you touched on the English part, i started my UA-cam three years ago but one of the reasons why I was not consistent it’s because of my English, I experienced the same thing when I was growing up and at school we never spoke English more often, so I always doubted my self but one thing I told myself this year is, I’m going to push no matter what. ❤❤❤❤

Speaking in front of the camera has many advantages, i have always wanted to overcome the fear of being around people, improve and be confident in my speech. I recently had my first face to face job interview and i was so confident and calm which was previously not the case for me, and the interviewer asked if I'm a public speaker lol? I was happy for someone who struggled with anxiety and being around strangers. UA-cam is the girl she thinks she is....Personally, i enjoy African english so much. That’s one of the things I always argue about Teachers who feel they shouldn’t invest in the children they are teaching by teaching them in English.Why would your teachers teach you in vernacular? And it happens a lot in township schools. I really advocate for people who go to public schools because they have to do double the work when they get to university. You are studying your course AND you have to learn English at the same time. Imagine how stressful that is. I saw this in varsity and one of my friends I made in first year had this problem so I became her translator and tutor. 😢 but we thank God you have come this far and managed to break the barriers set for you by people who were trusted to equip you to compete at a level playing field with others.

Speaking in front of the camera has many advantages, i have always wanted to overcome the fear of being around people, improve and be confident in my speech. I recently had my first face to face job interview and i was so confident and calm which was previously not the case for me, and the interviewer asked if I'm a public speaker lol? I was happy for someone who struggled with anxiety and being around strangers. UA-cam is the girl she thinks she is....Personally, i enjoy African english so much. That’s one of the things I always argue about Teachers who feel they shouldn’t invest in the children they are teaching by teaching them in English.Why would your teachers teach you in vernacular? And it happens a lot in township schools. I really advocate for people who go to public schools because they have to do double the work when they get to university. You are studying your course AND you have to learn English at the same time. Imagine how stressful that is. I saw this in varsity and one of my friends I made in first year had this problem so I became her translator and tutor. 😢 but we thank God you have come this far and managed to break the barriers set for you by people who were trusted to equip you to compete at a level playing field with others.

Oh my God I've never related so much Gugu with" Your English story" I don't know how many times i deleted my videos on youtube because of my insecurities. It's so hard growing in the villages sana and you have to move to town. Everything they always teach us in our mother toungue. It's really a struggle. I stutter a lot and I'm scared people will judge me and i really want to be in the youtube space 😫.
