This is the only chess channel I really watch now, you always break down the main lines clearly, and go lightly on the side lines -but not to the degree that I get lost. I honestly learn more from this channel than most. Epic chess, Alex Banzea and Alessia santerano are my trinity of chess channels atm.

I’m a rank awful chess player but I love the way the guy moves just one pawn, and it already has a defence name (French defence). It’s like someone putting one foot outside his front door and saying he must be going to Manchester.

1:14 IQP is such a well known abbreviation, I use it all the time. Another one is OCREG - Opposite Colored Rooks End Game (sometimes chess doesn't make any sense).

I”d love to see you analyze one of your own chess games. I’m sure you would bring self deprecating satire commentary in the bad moments, but at the end as you’re checkmating I could hear you say smash the like button like I did my opponent with this checkmate. Seriously, I’m new to chess but you make watching a game without the players entertaining. I know you’d think this is rubbish, but I hope every now and then you give yourself the fist pump celebrating comments like this, because you do a great job. Have a great day.

A bit of a random comment, but I saw your cursor blinking behind the 'd' in Fridman's name. I just had this myself and if you're on a Windows pc, pressing F7 should make it go away. I thought it was annoying, so maybe this helps you.
If you don't mind the blinking or you deliberately chose these settings, then consider this comment as one for the algorithm and nothing more😅

Best name ever! MAXIME, classic name, just like Maximus, but the french version of his last name, Vachier and Lagrave means... in english if you translate: Vachier is translated to: "Go take a dump" and Lagrave meaning is for : A serious one. so... @@epicchess2021 I like the longer games and want them to flourish because the commentary can really get going, realtime analysis from grandmasters on tactics, especially from Anish or Fabi or can really reveal a lot and they get a lot of jokes and stories in. In a blitz tournament, with simultaneous games...the commentary is superficial and fleeting. But I guess that is what keeps me tuning into Epic Chess the next day for deeper analysis.

9:52 is actually an urban legend that sprang up decades after JFK's speech, claiming that when he meant to say "I am a citizen of Berlin," he actually said "I am a Berliner," a type of jelly-filled doughnut. While funny, this theory is neither historically nor grammatically correct. It originates from a fictional line of dialogue in a 1983 novel and was later latched onto by a series of shoddy journalists at the New York Times.
