Good beat selection, clear cadence (unlike headie one for example), displays lyrics in his videos, has an appealing face to a lot of the fan girls, rememberable name, markets himself professionally and cares about his image as an artist unlike other lazy drill artists.
There’s rappers Like Avelino that I wish were as big as central cee but a UK artist who’s decent going global is still a W.

I think people Like Avelino really set the scene

Well JACK, that’s not my cup of tea either, but if you are interested in totally independent, self produced and interesting rap and much more songwriters I would rather take a look at REN’s work.
Just my personal opinion obviously 🙂

I just cant stand REN's voice. I love everything he stands for and the message behind the art, but the delivery grates on my brain.

Anyways thank you for your kindness, I appreciate your channel and really think it is very underrated 🤷
A question, can you explain me what’s the fuss about the last dinner party? I think they sound pretty well and I’ve seen also a live, they seem to know what they are doing, I heard some controversy about them but I really don’t know their history, I bet you are better informed…@@JackWebbMusicClub

Stormzy never helped forge drill. He has probably rapped on 3 drill tunes.

So.. you're saying that Drill would be as bit as it is without the likes of Stormzy, Kano, and Skepta?

@@JackWebbMusicClub In terms of contributions to British music, these artists you mentioned obviously ccontributed a ton. They didn't specifically contribute to the genre as much as so many others have though.
Kano started off as a grime/garage emcee. He even said in an interview around the time he dropped HAS that he didn't jump on a drill beat just to be trendy.
Skepta jumped on drills tunes with K-Trap, Pop Smoke and Fumes the Engineer. Skepta is mad versatile but this is such a small percentage of his catalogue.
Stormzy jumped on the Know Better beat, Clash with Dave and I Dunno with Tion Wayne and Dutchavelli. Once again, this was such a small percentage of his catalogue but due to him being quite versatile, he was bound to have jumped on some drill at some point.
Stormzy is a big artist who has definitely contributed to British music but I think there are so many artists you could have said instead of him in regards to UK drill. Due to him being a big artist people just use him as a place holder. It's your video so you can do what you like but you could have had more relevant artists like Tion Wayne, Millionz, Digga D, K-Trap, 67 etc. These are actual drill artists who gained their notoriety from the genre much like Headie One who you mentioned in the video.

WTF?! How can you call this a "breaktrough in production" by just laying same drill high-hats and bassline on other artist music and talk bsht randome words? If this is what our society call "Art" that show us how low our real expectations are...
