My thoughts too. I feel the novel explains better, that he told her he will always be with her. I think that makes her reaction in the movie make more sense.
CaughtintheSnowstorm yeah in the novel she puts Ben last but in the movie you can tell that she’s not just forgetting about him she just doesn’t feel as if he’s gone because of their bond. Daisy did it well
