I need this channel in my life. What has taken me so long to find this? I am an architect with a love of all things Mid-Century. My folks had a place at Surfside when I was growing up and I just love the old structures that remain. Cheers!

Sipped a lot of bourbon, cigars, and sunrise coffee n' pipe tobacco on a balcony at The Diplomat. They still use real door keys, as opposed to the cards that most hotels have. Love that place 🌴🍺😁🤙🌴

Prior to having the place at Surfside, we would stay at the Tradewinds motel. I mourned the loss of it.

Okay I finally tried out 2 retro updated hotels there, My favorite was Waikiki Village Retro Hotel

Just a guess but it looks like to me in the very first of the video you live at Seagate village . I lived there also for a long while.
