- This book was made for my good friend Shaina! We decided to do a private swap in our beloved goth theme.
This is a Gothic, nature junk journal that is made to resemble a goth field notes book - sort of an Anthology - a junk journal that is also just in time for Halloween!

Whoa! I don't know how you put this together, it has so much variety but you make it all seem like it belongs together! Another Fantastic Goth style JJ. I never liked them until I started to watch your videos, now I'm hooked, it's all your fault girlfriend. lol. I have accumulated some stuff, and I say that lightly, as I don't have enough of what I would like for this style JJ. So I am on a quest for vintage goth, vampire, spooky grungy EA Poe etc. stuff. I live in an area where we don't have alot of places to shop for this type stuff ( I wasn't looking around Halloween, stupid me, right lol) so I'm limited to what I can find online & it's usually very pricey, soooo it's taking me way longer than I wanted. Any black stuff like lace and cool charms etc is unknown around here lol. (The Bible Belt) lol. If you have any images that you could attach to a PM I would really really appreciate it. OK, my dear, I have rambled enough. Keep making these amazing JJ's. Byeeeee

And I will say that when you initially start collecting for a Gothic or dark themed journal, it's hard because you are usually after a specific look and you have to buy a lot of things to help complete that look. Whereas a journal that isn't dark, well, I'm sure we have boatloads of that kind of stuff on hand. So I would say continue to take your time, collect not only images but other things that will help round out the theme/look you are going for. There are some good images on Etsy and I bought a lot of my charms and stuff from either Etsy or ebay, fairly cheap for the most part. The Bible belt lol! That is funny! Oh, I would also suggest checking your thrift stores, or yard sales for old books etc. I hope this helps you!! 🖤🖤🖤😉😉😉

Well Miss Cara, this one took me longer than normal. I think it ultimately took me about a week and a half. Where I can normally finish them in 2-3 days. The mixed media stuff itself almost took a full day. And then sewing also takes up a lot of time. But it was totally worth it. I wanted to take my time and get my vision out. 😊😊 Thank you so much for watching! XoXo
