Great video; I will be watching it repeatedly because I am a senior and a beginner on UA-cam, upgrading from a smartphone to a Go Pro 12. Please pray for me. LOL.
It's a long term grower. It's funny, the Hero 10 one I dropped sat on 1k for a few months, as soon as summer hit it went wild and is almost on 200k now. UA-cam does its thing in good time.
Hey, this is a great vid because I may be getting a hero 12 for Christmas and I can’t wait to Vlog so this is the best video ever for me. I will be watching constantly until Christmas.
Sure, if you change the hz to 60hz, then it'll be in US mode, which you can use as long as you don't have any light sources around and you're in Europe.
I do not have the access to all of those video set up settings on my GoPro 12? Would you have any understanding as to why? I don't have the same options on the camera screen as you have. If you could help this would be appreciated, thank you!
GoPro has handed over the action cam market to it's competitors. The overheating was the first consistent failure they had. It made their cameras very unreliable. The slow pace innovation by not adding features (they just added HDR) and not capturing the other form factors (like with the insta360 Go, Dji pocket)
This is a quick start guide for the GoPro Hero 12, your comment would better fit one of my other videos. As we're on the topic though, you could say the same for the DJI Action 4 and iPhone 15 Pro Max release this year, very little innovation added, but features were improved. The Insta360 GO, whilst being an amazing camera has also changed very little since it was released. Have a nice day.
I've been filming 6 hours worth of content in 4k 60fps, and nown that I've uploaded it to my computer, none of the files work(probably cause of the resolution/fps). is there a way to make them 30fps or 1080p in hindsight so I can review them? VLC media player plays the files but its constant screen tare and its lagging to unwatchable levels. Is there a way to fix this without redoing the whole probably 20 hours of filming?

You'll love it, the Hero 12 is an excellent camera! Have fun.
Thank you.
I like this kind of videos. Short and essential. I think GP menu is simple and clear. Nice video.

It’s not that much different from the Hero 11.

What is time warp on GoPro 12
It’s like a time-lapse, but you use it whilst moving.
