    I have some questions about some of these spots, curious to see what people think (Tables numbered clockwise from Top left). Please upvote this and maybe Charlie will answer:
    8:43 - Table 4 = Q9s - Is this not an open??
    10:37 - Table 2 = 72s in BB 3 way - are we really defending here multiway? Because it is likely to miss everyone else's range? As played, are we really calling off 3 bet jam with 7 high flush draw and backdoors? got there twice so YOLO
    11:59 - Table 3 = When would you fire on this turn when checked to?
    13:40 Table 4 = K4o on button?? Quite wide no?
    14:02 - Table 1 - 44 in SB. On turn, can you consider leading? as played on river, can we bet less to get a call?
    16:03 - Table 3 = 3 bet min raise with K7s - can you 3 bet this because the raise size is so small?
    17:23 - Table 4 = 4 bet bluff with QJo. Thoughts on this? The player 3 bet quite fast, charlie has a look at some stats and 2.5x 4 bet back
    17:23 - Table 3 = fires a 3 bet from SB with A8 suited and has to fold to 4 bet. why not just flat? cos you risk BB coming along too?
    18:10 - table 3 = min raise open with 77 in HJ. why change the raise size??
    18:53 - table 4 = min bet on turn with AQo on 3453 after check check flop. Is this to induce a raise??
    19:50 - table 4 = again defends BB multiway with 72. this time for only 10c more getting 6/1 which makes more sense but still: we're told to defend tighter multiway so why 72?? balancing range??
    I'll get to the rest later. Just some thoughts so far.

    At 39.00 hand bottom right (river bluff). Can you explain the decision to go for turn c/r and river bluff? Surely player is likely to have TJ, TQ, JQ, and call/call is totally fine? Going ham to fold out KT, KJ, KQ is just nuts!! Do they really fold KT/KJ/KQ often enough on river here? Its almost as if your turn c/r is both a value raise AND bluff raise. Love it

    Charlie, zoom cash is the best to build a bankroll in your opinion?

    • @founik
      @founik 5 років тому

      Zoom cash is not the best to build the bankroll. Best/easiest to build the bankroll is probably to play classic cash games (non zoom tables) where you can focus on lacks of your opponents and you can turn your advantage(exploit them) into as high win rate as possible. However, Zoom cash is probably best way to learn, because you are going over tons and tons of hands in a short time, you need to make various decisions and also you are playing against various opponents.

    • @vitmikulas2605
      @vitmikulas2605 5 років тому

      Zoom is the best way to put in volume without having to 20 table or sth, but you should be very careful of not falling into the "abc autopilot" trap because of that. You still have to exploit all fish and weak regs to the max

    • @founik
      @founik 5 років тому +1

      @@vitmikulas2605 Zdravim :) Well I have to admit, that you are right. Also we cannot argue about this much, because there are too many factors that needs to be counted.
      Like:
      Is player able to manage downswings?
      Is player able to make correct decisions constantly?
      How long can he play? Because variance matters. And the bigger sample you have, the less variance should matter. Etc, etc. So yea, but even Charlie had downswings on 5 and 10NL in his previous Bankroll challenge, because you cannot play against 5NL and 10NL people like usually. Your bluff can be the best bluff ever and fish calling station on 5 or 10NL will call you down anyway.
      Also on a non-zoom table you have more tells and longer analyses how the player is playing, on zoom you are using your bet sizing mostly and partly his. So it's questionable a lot. I would say we both are right, just depends on the angle that you are looking at it.

    lets go Charles! Although I do believe that this is challenge is a waste of time. The average poker player will never make it from 0 to 10k playing online poker. It is way too difficult and time consuming. I consider myself as a case study, I played everyday for like around 2 weeks (average 8 hours a day) and got it to 300 dollars then lost it all due to variance and some tilt.

    Charlie, you say someone could learn by layering up their thought process, and mostly all decision start from preflop. Would a starting micro player want to watch the entire video by just seeing what cards you opened from what positions, and why you chose to do that? Then go further the next time through to iso raising? Then preflop calling, value vs. bluff cbetting, etc. on and on. Is that what you mean by layers?
