and there are many more which I or anyone can't ignore. The thing is the movie these folks make are totally outstanding and different than what rest of the sandalwood produces. I request these great men, to produce such masterpiece in Tulu language too. The people who know what's the current state of Tulu as a language would agree on this fact. This negligence towards Tulu as a language has been there time before you can imagine, one of the greatest kings of India Sri Krishna Dev raya being a Tuluva never used Tulu except in his inner circle. There might be multiple reason to it, but it's Tulu as a language which suffered. Me as a Tuluva can only raise a request like this, i hope you guys loved the song. This whole comment ment no harm to any other language, this is only to protect our identity as tuluvas. Songs and people like kapikad make be believe that there are people working towards Tulu as a language.

I am Tamil. This is the first time I came across Tulu song. First impression is wow. Quality of music, choreography and picturization is very good. Second, very less penetration of Sanskrit words in the lyrics, much like Tamil. So, it sounds exotic.
I found it very difficult to understand the lyrics, even though I spot common Tamil words here and there. We also say, ponnu for girl and aan for man in Tamil. Immediately felt connected to the song.
I can spot many other common words too. Does 'Kattu paadu' means 'restrictions' or 'bounded' in Tulu as well? Third, the hero. Arjun is a handsome hunk and very expressive. I wish he acts in Tamil movies. The heroine is also cute.
