- Sheriff Daniel "Dan" Stevens (Chuck Norris) must showdown with the genetically modified and virtually indestructible John Kirby.
Watch Now: play.google.co...
Chuck Norris, six-time World Karate Champion, stars in his first suspense film as the tough, street-fighting sheriff of a small Texas town terrorized by a psychotic killer. Sheriff Stevens (Norris) is faced with the dilemma of stopping the invincible murderer, made virtually indestructible through genetic engineering. A young group of researchers are responsible for developing the genetically altering serum, and the head of the research institute is determined to continue the experiments, regardless of the consequences. Norris displays fighting brilliance as he single-handedly routs a dozen brutal bikers from a truck stop hangout, while revealing a warm and sexy side when he rekindles an old romance with Alison Halman (Toni Kalem), a researcher at the institute. Excitement, horror, and romance prevail as Norris combats the killer.

No cgi. No green screen. This felt real and that’s what we’re missing in Hollywood right now
I don't know what you saw but this looks bad even by 80s standards.
@@gandalainsley6467they should remake this movie except make everyone black 🚬🤔
No cruise control??
bingo
classics....when stunt men were in high demand for action movies as such as these!
This was an awesome scene. Kriby tossing Norris around like a ragdoll, and Norris' punches and kicks didn't phase Kirby. Kirby was a beast!
@rockwellrhodes7703 Medically enhanced to not feel pain and heal rather quickly
The Indestructable Man ( Brian Libby) was a bit player in the Chuck Norris movie The Octagon and Norris was impressed with him so he had the Producers hire him as the antagonist in Silent Rage. Libby became one of the all time great movie villians.
This was one of Norris', best movie fights.
So underrated chuck vs Jason lol
One of my favorite movies of the Golden 80s. Some things are never forgotten. This movie and "No Retreat No Surrender" are engraved in my memory. I am still waiting over 40 years for part 2
Ditto I was 11 when I first saw this and it scared me more than Freddie Krueger etc. Because Chuck Norris was such a convincing hero himself. How could any creature withstand his punches and kicks like that
This could have & should have been a franchise, at least a trilogy!
R.I.P. Brian Libby who played as Kirby.... he was a great actor. He also played as, Floyd in The Shawshank Redemption.
I didn't know he had passed away. Very sad.
Heat,too,with Deniro & Pacino
I didn’t know he passed away. Watching this now, I wonder if he was like a stuntman or something, because he was taking bumps pretty good here.
he also was in one episode of The A-Team.
And the movie Erased.
I saw this at the movie theater when it first came out, and over the years (I'm 56 now) i STILL.... have nightmares of being in a place i don't know and THIS DUDE IS THERE.😨
I'm 55yrs old I remember watching this on cable TV late night in the 80s... I felt this movie is incredible. Chuck Norris kicks and punches looks and sounds so real..
Chuck's kicking abilities are great. I love all of his movies.
& I ask ... Who was the best Norris or Bruce Lee?
That's a tough I'm a big Bruce Lee fan. He was so fast and powerful .He will always be the best to me@@labaredachannel4738
@@labaredachannel4738I'd have to give a slight edge to Bruce, just because of his lightning fast moves and quickness.
It depends on which way the wind was blowing on that day, to determine which of the two was best. Lol
Texas Ranger vs. Michael Myers.
Good call .. 👍🏻
Walker vs The Flood
Sheriff
That would've been awesome 💯🍻
Lmao that’s what came to mind when I saw that
It seems like such a small thing, but I love the bit where Alison jumps on Kirby's back. This was no OP Rings of Power Galadriel situation. She had no chance against Kirby, and she knew it, but Dan was in trouble, so she went in swinging. I know a few TV/Movie writers who could learn from that scene.
I love it, too!
It is a great scene. It’s a very raw fight scene, with no music, only crickets chirping in the background. She’s helping Norris, but you know she’s also doing it because if Kirby wins, she’s as good as dead.
Family is Family after all... also like the way Chuck came out of the well, and took him down, believe his Daughter was still on the guys back... loved Chuck's movies, think the Octagon was my favorite...
This movie was the closest we got to a Chuck Norris vs Michael Myers movie.....
(Halloween was also popular at the time)
Facts
The deadliest man alive pretending to look like a mere mortal in a fight scene. That's real acting, Mr. Norris.
This is still my favorite Chuck Norris film, and he did a great job on the horror movie.
It was actually a mix of horror,sci-fi,a touch of western-action mix.Chuck actually wasnt too fond of this film because of technical reasons, but i think most of his fans loved it.
When chuck just plows into the guy and the woman goes flying off his back😂
No matter how hard Chuck Norris hit John Kirby, the guy just kept getting up, he refused to stay down. I'd hate to have to fight someone like that.
It's a mixture of his craziness, and healing factor. Kirby was unstoppable..
UFC Nate Diaz
@@hectorrodriquez3182 Max Holloway is the same. And more baddest
Chuck Norris is only man who can defeat Thanos, Superman, Wolverine, Hulk, deadpool, among other immortal superheroes and supervillains.
Brian Libby's height and ability to move in an unnerving manner helped make Kirby so frightening, I'd say.
Brian Libby is a great actor.
Fantastic movie!! A Karate Western Sci-Fi Horror Story!! I liked it, great Experimentation!! One of Chucks Best in My Appenden!! 🇺🇲👍
When the Hulk sees Kirby he gets really happy and says "Oh boy a worthy opponent for Hulk to SMASH!!!!" Lol!!!!🤣🤣🤣
I love John Kirby’s scream as he’s falling down the well.
Scary thing is he probably escaped
Especially when he basically just gave a loud moan when he was on fire.
@@tyvillianheartthrob1856 I don’t see how he escapes.
@@NemeanLion- he was still alive at the end
@@tyvillianheartthrob1856 I know, but he can’t get out.
This dude made Chuck Norris put in some work to defeat him.
This guy was Michael Myers without the mask
If you notice, his hair is kind of styled like Michael's mask...and he's wearing a jump suit.
@@amitypredator9385 they were definitely going for that look no doubt
@@amitypredator9385
Right down (virtually) to the "kill soundtrack."
Still one of the most freighting movie experiences of all time at the end!
frightening
It’s right up there with the hand coming out of the water in Deliverance.
@@NemeanLion- 💯 percent agree.
I watch this movie a lot has a kid in the 80's
I watched this movie many years ago and I've been waiting for somebody to do a Part 2 to this movie if any Chuck Norris film deserved a sequel it was this one.
The techniques that Chuck Norris used on Kirby would kill the average man
Dismemberment would be the only way to stop this guy.
Several times over. That's what made this movie very scary! 'Chuck' actually met his match! Very different type of movie and original! As if 'Kirby' snorted an entire 8 ball of cocaine all by himself!
Under rated movie and under rated fight at the end
Why aren't they making Silent Rage 7 "The return of John Kirby" ? The made 6 of those damn Chucky movies.
They didn't make 6 silent rage movies....
Unfortunately the actor who played Kirby (aka Brian Libby) died a couple of years ago. Chuck would have to fight somebody else instead.
@@rsuriyop That sucks. He did a great job despite having only one speaking line.
@CARLOS RUIZ Chuck Norris was approached about filming a sequel. He refused because he was committed to other projects. He also said, "What else can I do to this guy? I shot him, beat him, dragged him, burned him, and tossed him down a well."
Kirby was in at least one Walker Texas ranger, and arrested John Coffey in the green Mile.
This movie was scary back in the day
The only villain Chuck Norris never defeated
No he defeated him at the end by throwing him into the well, that doesn't mean the guy died though lol
No he defeated him, just didn't kill him. Big difference lol
At the end you see him jump up from the water in the well, it was great
Chuck was pulling his punches and kicks or else he would have killed the indestructible man
This is like a John Carpenter film.
TOTALLY JACKED AND REMIXED HALLOWEEN (1978)..
@@2020TYBO CHADOWEEN
I mean yeah. It's a rip off of Halloween
Chuck Norris doesn't need regeneration, regeneration NEEDS Chuck Norris!!!
Good one lad.😂😂😂😂
This takes a very close second to Lone Wolf McQuade.
Halloween: The Martial Arts version
This was Chuck Norris vs Drunken Michael Myers
😂🤣 good one.
Lol
One of the greatest action / horror movies ever
Amazing kicking ability of Master Norris...
He was the Terminator before the Terminator
REALLY MICHAEL MYERS WAS THE INSPIRATION..
He was an amalgam of Frankenstein and Khan.
They should of made a part 2.
Would've been a great Walker, Texas Ranger episode.
@@johnnybravado7141 yeah I agree I wonder why it never happened??
@@danrobinson572because chuck norris hated this film and decided to not do this genre again.
@@joeyhernandez5247 okay 👍 I wonder why it was really good 👍
Chuck Norris on ‘Silent Rage’ (1982)] It was about a psycho who couldn't die. It's amazing that out of all my films, it's the one that makes the most people come up to me and say, "Are you going to do a sequel?" I say: "What would I do? I tried every way in the world to kill that guy. Finally, I had to dump him down a well. There's nothing else I could do to him."
I wish they could have afforded to light this scene, it would have been awesome
Out of all of chuck Norris’s movies this is the one I watched at least 10 times.
One of my all-time favorites!! 😁
DAMN!!!! Hope the stunt man got a huge pay, that car stunt was just crazy.
When I was 11years old this movie scared the living 💩outta me. I had nightmares for a week after.
Me too
One of his best films.
Always thought this is an interesting spin on the horror genre.
I like how his cloths also 'regenerated' after a dip in the lake.
I love when he is on fire. Right back at you Kirby!
I remember going thru a Chuck Norris phase during the early years of HBO - my 2 favorite films of his were Forced Vengeance and this movie - I think in both cases because it was somehow satisfying reacting to him feeling overwhelmed by circumstances - in this case it was also exciting to see a sci fi-horror mashup w Norris against a kind of Jason figure - why does this make me think of Steve Austin vs Sasquatch? Seeing it now, there's something refreshing re the simplicity of this formula and how it's executed
Well said. I think the way this was directed, you felt a palpable fear. This is a martial arts movie where two opponents aren’t bending the laws of physics and its score and directing style doesn’t necessarily imply a happy ending. You could see Chuck Norris’s incredible skill, but it also felt subdued and very grounded. Didn’t feel like other action movies, where it’s a fight choreography showcase.
John Kirby: the ULTIMATE sparring partner
Besides Bruce Lee
Чего же обрезали, надо было концовку-то показать)))
Kirby wasn't Badass. He was injected with an experimental sererm that rejuvenated his body so he couldn't die. As you can see, Kirby couldn't fight for ish. If it weren't for that sererm, he would have been dust long ago.
Chuck Norris wins every time 💪💪💪
Except versus Bruce Lee😢
@@SolSeal true but dammmmmmmm man your destroying that well
Built stash Chuck Norris has built broooooooooo
Wow I’ve never heard of this movie?! It looks really good.
It was awesome, all of chucks were great
It’s not.. too old lol
@@calvinjohnson9505age has nothing to do with a movie being ‘good’ or not
Ebert (or was it Siskel?) loved the beginning, which was high praise for an '80s B-horror movie.
Ya no se vio cuando se asoma de nuevo en el fondo del poso
Es lo mas emocionante del final
Best Pscho killer maniac movie ever made, in the Drive In version, you see Chuck walk away after that final kick, then you see Kirbys hand move or eye flicker, and the music theme starts again and credits roll
Brian Libby looked So Funny trying to Drive the Bronco here all scared.🤣
He wasn't too silent in this scene.
This movie scared the hell out of me as a little boy but I couldn't stop watching it every time it aired
It's like Chuck Norris was facing off against a copy of Michael Myers from the movie Halloween in this film
What made me love this was a regular guy who wasn't helpless. They were even but the "Monster" had an edge with durability. Most are helpless but Chuck had a real life skill that hammered this guy out. He tackled this dude and gave him the F5 into the well. I get why he didn't do anything like this later on because it made him look weak. However, this made him look really strong because others would get destroyed. He made a normal person with a physical skill set look competent.
My favorite Chuck Norris movie.
ONE of Bruce Lee's boys/Chuck Norris. LOVE those Martial Arts Moves.
And all waiting for part two
Yeah I wonder if he got out of that well
All those years of kicking high ruined Chuck Norris's hips and hitting the bag ruined his shoulders. He's had double hip replacement surgeries and double shoulder rotator cuff repairs.
So, he's in better shape than MOST of those his age...what say you Chum?
I love this! It's one of my favorite movie scenes.
My favorite Chuck Norris movie and scene
I did NOT expect Chuck to use the Attitude Adjustment as his finisher here. Wow!
asi no termina, la escena final se ve el hombre como levantandose en el fondo del pozo.
Great movie!!!!
"I heard you were once bit by a king cobra." "I was. It was 5 agonizing days, but the cobra finally died."
The girl saved CHUCKS life.
If it wasn't for her ,chuck was in serious trouble
This killer will push him to his limits and beyond
Especially with the serum that was injected into him
When he came out that water 😳
Even walker Texas ranger killed the boogeyman 😂
I want to see kirby square off with michael myers.
I remember this movie! Brian Libby played that guy... Goodness this movie is maybe 30~40 years old...
Chuck Norris give that guy a john cena attitude adjustment at the end.
Chuck Norris finishes the guy with the Attitude Adjustment!
Me and my friends laughed so much in the fight at the😊in the 80’s
this is definitely not a fair fight, there should be at least a hundred invincible men to fight chuck norris, remember, this is the chuck norris 😄😁
They must have forgotten the last part of your comment.
You might be confused. Chuck Norris is not fighting an invincible man. Chuck Norris IS the invincible man. I don't know who that other guy was but he looked pretty beat up at the start of the video. Like he had encountered Chuck Norris earlier in the movie too.
Kirby was inmortal and unstopable, What more do you want?
Now u know where John cena got his signature move the FU. 😂🤘
closest thing we have to Chuck Norris VS Jason Vorhee.. too bad in reality Chuck Norris can just one round house kick Jason from earth away from the 5th dimension and beyond.
Good movie chuck Norris first horror movie
en su momento de chavo vi muchas veces esa peli, pero hoy en dia la vdd no puedo recordar porq el malo era indestructible?🤔 si alguien me ilumina se lo agradeceria
He had mental problems and chopped up his family with an ax at the beginning of the movie. Then the police killed him. Two doctors used an experimental drug on his body that brought him back to life and gave his super fast healing powers.
Earlier before the final of this film. Chuck Norris fired six shots from his Revolver and the Indestructible Maniac fell off the high rise Building. Chuck Norris thought that he killed him. But he didn't . He still got up. If Chuck Norris thinks that Bullets cannot stop him . Maybe his Martial Arts skills cannot save him. It's not worth it.

Awesomeness 🤘🏻😊
Like chuck vs michael myers how halloween ends should have ended lol
I loved the punching sounds used in this movie
The indestructible man must have gotten some good pointers from Jason Voorhees and Michael Myers. He takes a licking, and keeps on ticking.
Awesome fight scene and movie👍😁 Brian Libby played previously with Chuck Norris in The Octagon a few years earlier
What a scene.
How I wish the Hulk would fight Kirby!!! The Hulk would say "Oh boy a worthy opponent for Hulk to smash!!!!" Lol!!!🤣🤣🤣
Even Bruce lee would struggle with that monster,I never seen that actor before either with chuck Norris or Bruce lee movies
You should continue to the point where the credit starts rolling.
ME ACORDE DE ESTA PELICULA,LA MIRE MUCHO DE NIÑO,EL LOCO ESE ESTABA DE MIEDO!!😬😬😬😬
Nobody can beat chuck norris exept bruce but he regret it and was finally beaten by the realsuperhero of all times woow, you.r already lucky because you live in era of chuck norris
Even his clothes regenerated after being on fire.
