I love that Shadow is going all out to stop Sonic’s rampage, even to the point of protecting Eggman. People tend to think that Shadow is just an edgier version of Sonic, someone who doesn’t really care about anything or anyone, but he actually might have a bigger heart than Sonic himself. Since Shadow also lost a precious friend in Maria, he went through exactly what Sonic is going through right now. With help from Sonic and friends, Shadow was able to overcome his desire for revenge and he was able to move on. Now it’s his turn to do the same for Sonic and help him move on as well.

I love how every time Dark Sonic gets to Eggman, Shadow keeps stopping him.
This seems very accurate if sonic lost it because Tails is Sonic’s best friend and Sonic could basically tear down all of the world if he wanted to but chooses not to.
And like Regime Superman after Joker tricked him into killing Lois and his own unborn child which resulted in Metropolis being destroyed by a nuke. Enraging Superman enough to kill him and corrupt him into being the very thing he swore to fight against in a corrupted belief that doing so would have prevented Lois' and his child's death along with Metropolis being saved. Failing to realize had he been like that before Joker ever did what he did, Lois would not have loved him nor would he have had the friends he made.

Apparently, the author got his inspiration from Sonic 2 Friendship. But I never expected Sonic to go all out and listen to anyone but himself and do anything to avenge the death of his best friend. Let's hope for the next part/full version.

Bro, at the end Eggman called the S.O.S team. And we just basically saw Mario and Kratos. Dark Sonic isn't winning when we see the next episode of this. And hopefully we see Silver restarting the timeline. And Shadow heals Tails with the chaos emerald. And yelling at Sonic to prevent killing Eggman.
