Journalist Steve Coll on Dialogue

Journalist Steve Coll talks with host Marcia Franklin about his latest book, "Directorate S." A sequel to his Pulitzer Prize-winning book. "Ghost Wars," it investigates American policy towards Pakistan and Afghanistan after 9-11, particularly the United States' support for ISI, the intelligence service of Pakistan, which has often worked against our interests in Afghanistan.
Franklin also talks with Coll about the case of Idahoan Bowe Bergdahl, who was held hostage by a branch of the Taliban, and new information Coll learned about the negotiations for Bergdahl's release.
Coll, the dean of the school of journalism at Columbia University, also talks with Franklin about the current journalistic landscape in America.
