How to turn off YouTube Restricted Mode on iPhone/iPad/iOS on Public Wifi. Easy & free fix!

Disable 'Restricted Mode' on UA-cam on iOS when public wifi has forced it on (like at the UK resort, Center Parcs, where I first noticed this issue). It'll say 'Enabled By Network Administrator', or 'Restricted mode has hidden comments for this video'. This is something the wifi provider is enforcing using their DNS server.

Not really.. In some cases it can speed things up if the default dns server isn't very fast.

Hi. You'll need to speak with your mobile carrier to get them to turn that setting off. It might be in an online portal too, depending on the company you're with.
