The Chilis have been my favourite band since before I can remember, and I'd put blink into the same dimension as them. Just because blink's music isn't as meaningful doesn't mean it isn't as exceptional. Yeah so maybe Tom and Mark can't write deep and meaningful songs, but what they can do is write music that relates to real life (not saying the Chilis can't) and there are thousands of people who love them. They're different bands, respect them both for what they are.
