I loved your book cause I was "a girl in a band" years ago - I was/am bassist and singer - I am 47 now, I've got two wonderful kids and work as a teacher. While reading your book I felt like beeing young again - still having the dream in the ❤ of living in NY as a musician. I once played in CBGBS (in August 2001!) with my girl rock band FESCH - IT WAS JUST GREAT! We loved it! Sorry, wish I cld offer more specifics but having read her book, as well, her musical prowess, talent n knowledge is light years away from what I’ve got the capacity for in its structure, composition n everything I know I don’t know but hear it, just the same.
