This comeback is definitely the most special one. They left JYPE as a group, signed in different agencies, but managed to comeback as one group. That’s a lot of work for them. They managed to get all the rights too. I am thankful to all agencies for letting the boys come together as one group. You guys are amazing! Ofcourse, massive thanks to our boys for not leaving us, for always thinking about us. GOT7 + IGOT7 = FOREVER.
I think jype is more chill about the name rights issue. Which is really the only real issue. I bet before they signed with any company they would have made the company guarantee a comeback as a group I just feel like they’re the type to wanna do that Edit: I realised they all went to much smaller companies and got Warner music to manage their group distribution for GOT7 I wonder how they did that. That’s genius btw. I wonder who taught them that.

I love this comeback song. It's not supposed to be flashy, it's not supposed to be hard-hitting. It's a song meant for their love of performing together, for their love of their fandom, for the respect they've earned through sticking together not just as a team, but as friends with their own lives who gather just to produce music because they loved doing it. This is an emblematic song, a start of something fresh and beautiful.

People should realize how amazing this comeback is. Their contract with JYP "as a group" ended. They are super successful on their own but they still choose to release music TOGETHER. I cant emphasize enough that they are COMPLETE.

One good thing I can say about JYP and JYPE is that, according to Jay B, they just easily handed over the trademark and the rights to their music, songs, etc without making Got7 jump through a thousand hoops. But tbh, JYP/JYPE has always done that. They didn't ban Sunmi from using her old music either. Edit: but I wish the company would've appreciated Got7 more when they were with them. Give them proper promotions and let them handle their OWN music since the member-made songs were always bangers, especially the early demos that JYP didn't make Jay B change 15 times (I'm still mad that the demo version of Eclipse is WAAAAYYYYY better than the final version we got). But at least they're free to make the music they want now! Got7 forever.

It's a well known fact that Got7 members are very successful in their solo activities too. So they could have disbanded before. But they didn't because they love Got7. Got7 is not just a idol group. They are a family and they proved us that. Also their love for the fans is absolutely beautiful. I've never been proud of a band or any other artist like this. So the answer to your question is, they just chose to continue. (Not renewing contracts doesn't mean they have to disband. They proved that) also it's not a business anymore. Not like when they were in jype. It's music now. Their real music. The true sound.

this is artist freedom: No extravagant clothes just comfy clothing. No overtly fancy choreo where you break your bones just simple and relaxing. No fancy haircolours just mostly black with one a more silver/grey hair. The song is poppy but relaxing. It's like a message: We can now finally relax and do our thing. Jackson also has team wang and is ceo of this company as well. JYP has no more control over them and thus why I said artist freedom because they're free from control for what they do as GOT7.

I love this comeback song. It's not supposed to be flashy, it's not supposed to be hard-hitting. Edit: but I wish the company would've appreciated Got7 more when they were with them. Give them proper promotions and let them handle their OWN music since the member-made songs were always bangers, especially the early demos that JYP didn't make Jay B change 15 times (I'm still mad that the demo version of Eclipse is WAAAAYYYYY better than the final version we got).

@@09cqy63 After deciding not to renew their contracts, they left the agency. They could have disbanded. But they didn't and they chose to continue. It's a well known fact that Got7 members are very successful in their solo activities too. So they could have disbanded before. But they didn't because they love Got7. Got7 is not just a idol group. They are a family and they proved us that. Also their love for the fans is absolutely beautiful. I've never been proud of a band or any other artist like this. So the answer to your question is, they just chose to continue. (Not renewing contracts doesn't mean they have to disband. They proved that) also it's not a business anymore. Not like when they were in jype. It's music now. Their real music. The true sound.

These men have set a standard for other groups. They prove that owning their own music is possible but it definitely was not easy. They are incredibly brave. I have so much respect for them. I love that they are true to themselves. I felt so loved watching their homecoming fancon. Who performs over 16 songs at a fanmeeting? It’s not even a fanmeeting anymore. It’s a overdue concert. this is artist freedom: No extravagant clothes just comfy clothing. No overtly fancy choreo where you break your bones just simple and relaxing. No fancy haircolours just mostly black with one a more silver/grey hair. The song is poppy but relaxing. It's like a message: We can now finally relax and do our thing. This entire MV also just screams vacation and relaxation. Comfort rather than hard choreos and stress. I like it. The edits are also very well done. Welcome back GOT7 missed y'all.
