Sm contestants from iland that didn't make it to enhypen debuted in other groups (like the &team members from iland ofc, and geonu from iland also debuted in another group, hanbin debuted too and kyungmin also recently debuted in a group literally like 2 days ago and more) and gaku is talented, i'm sure the future has a lot in store for him
