Melinda you touched on my three pet peeves regarding what fits videos…. Showing every single item in every single slg, showing empty slgs and phone cases, and lastly, showing a bag full of empty card cases who carries three to five card cases??!! Your whats in my bag videos are always perfect. You show a a realistic working bag, reasonably full slgs, sunglasses and reading glasses, tissues, gum, the items that we really do carry. Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️
You're welcome! All of that is actually what I carry daily and no one cares what lipstick I have on lol. I have found several new channels and goodness I don't want to see tweezers and every lipstick and floss, it annoys me so much I assume it annoys others as well.

I was surprised that the speedy 20 fit a bit more and agree with you that I would have preferred a nicer finish to the silver hardware on the Gucci bag.
I was tossing up between this Gucci bag vs the Speefy 20 DE but ended up getting the Gucci for 2 reasons: 1. Price difference (Gucci AUD $2665 vs LV $3350) 2. Leather strap vs crappy canvas strap. I absolutely hate the canvas strap and would just use my Speedy 25 strap instead.
Thanks for the tip with the zipper wax, I do find that the zipper on the Gucci is hard to get around the corners so I'll be checking out Amazon right after this!

I have the 25 and am contemplating getting the keepall 35😂 With your review, I am now seriously thinking about the 20…I have several monogram LV ( my fave luxury brand) , so will consider the new season empriente leather ones. I’ve been waiting for this comparison video! I own both of these bags. I have had my Speedy 20 for 18 months or so and I love using it, but like you, I couldn’t stand the guitar strap for many reasons and I sold it within a month of owning it and replaced it with a beautiful soft vachetta strap. Perfect. The Gucci Ophidia mini in navy I picked up two weeks ago. Like you, the SA offered to punch two more holes in my strap. I’m 5’4 and it felt way too short for me. With the extra holes, it’s a bit better, but it still could be a touch longer. I think the downside for me is the stiffness of the Gucci. It doesn’t give much, so I feel like it is sticking out more. The other somewhat uncomfortable thing for me was the offset strap hardware. It moves back and forth. I’m sure I just need to get more used to it. I’m so glad to hear that you like yours. It’s encouraging! There is no returning it after the extra holes punched, right? 😬
I really need to sell that strap, it is awful. I wish the Gucci was longer too, I am 5'6 and the extra holes helped but longer would be better. I think both bags stick out a bit crossbody but they are just too cute. Yep they are ours now lol!
Thank you for your detailed review. I purchased the original speedy 20 with the unadjustable ugly guitar strap. I am also 5’6 & the strap is too small. I bought a vachetta strap from organize my bag & love it. I bought an extender for the guitar strap but it’s still meh 🫤 I love the speedy 20 but will not buy another, not worth the expense of the hideous guitar strap. I was eyeing the Gucci too, it may fit my casual style better. Thanks for sharing! ❤

hey I can't remember but do you have a black or pink capucines bb? If so, you might try your guitar strap with it! I love my strap with that bag.

I'm eyeing the speedy in damier ebene, but will purchase the adjustable brown strap from the website. Can't deal with the guitar strap at all!

Melinda you’re always so thorough. I will always go for LV over Gucci, just my preference. 🤷🏻♀️ I am not a guitar strap girl but I have the Speedy B 25. It’s a shame as I love many bags but if they come with a guitar strap it’s a no for me.
I'm not a fan of the guitar strap either. I do have the speedy 20 on DE and use a LV DE strap with it which I like much better!

Not a fan of the strap either but oddly enough I have both the speedy b 25 & 20 in damier ebene. I use the leather strap from my 25 with the 20 & the guitar strap with the 25 which actually looks pretty good. The strap is just too big for such a small bag but works well with the 25.

The monogram, I really think the strap that comes with the DE is the wrong color for the bag.
LV should have given you two straps for that bag. Yes the webbing on the Gucci will fuzz up a little. I have a vintage one and also some web belts and there is some minor fuzz.
I really would have preferred a strap just like the other Speedy's. I figured it would fuzz a bit.
I recently bought the Speedy 20 and my first thoughts were:OmG,this is so cute,but WAY TOO TINY.I gave it a chance and I love,love,love that bag!!You can easily throw a 500ml bottle of water inside.Since 2(or3??)years,I only use a Mulberry cardholder and my LV Ronde for change.Add my keys and off she goes❤

For the Gucci one, i guess because of the leather lining on the zip area that makes it a bit stiff as compared to the LV one that do not have any leather on the zip and canvas will be softer, if that make sense. Also, for the Gucci one, since it has leather on the zip trim, i am afraid as you used it, hopefully the leather will not peel if you use it a lot i mean. Overall i think Gucci one is steadier since they have leather trim all over and thus fit lesser. Yes the vachetta that i dont like but if i were to get (which i am so tempted) i will get the Ebene one and yes i do not like the strap too. i will not use the strap too 🤗😍

Hi Melinda. They’re both adorable. After selling some bags I’m thinking about getting more functional bags now and I started with a small puzzle in sand. The old model so super happy. It’s a good start. I received it a few days ago. Had to jump on it now cuz i don’t like the edge at all. It ruined the bag for me. It’s as good as you said it would be. Now looking for another one. Black and then one in a cute color. Small sizes. But it needs to hold as much as the puzzle.

Also I wanted quality and like we all know some brands you’re just not sure what you’re getting anymore. The puzzle is adorable. It was a great choice and your review video back then was one of the best. So if you were to buy a mini bag in a fun color. What would you buy? Just curious. I keep going back to a mini Fendi baguette. Not sure what else is nice and does hold a bit. It must be able to carry things of course.
@@dianeb2349 That is a hard question because I don't like mini bags. The one I have I only use for special occasions or sporting events (YSL mini Lou). I do think the baguette is a cute bag.

I don’t have particularly like them either because I want then to carry enough. A mini bag would be just like a card holder and some small things. Hmmmmm it’s hard. We will see. Maybe I’ll change my mind about mini bags. It took me a year to buy the puzzle. I love it I love it.

I was so looking forward to the LV damier ebene Speedy 20 release because of its all weather wear but then it had that hideous guitar strap so it was a nope. I will not pay that kind of money for a bag that I then have to buy something else for to make it work. Also annoyed it cost more than the Speedy B 25. In the end, I’ll probably choose the small Celine Boston bag (bit smaller than the Gucci) as it has a longer strap for crossbody - but I love the blue Gucci supreme with its silver hardware! I also have a LV bag with the pre-patina vachetta which did get a water mark on it. Over time it’s faded but I can still see it. I do think it helps but it’s certainly not like a treated leather. I can be quite protective of vachetta 😬.
I agree the strap just ruins it. I wish I had tried my things in the bag and really walked around with it so I would have known how uncomfortable it feels to me. The Celine one is really cute. They did tell me it wasn't treated leather, good to know for sure!
I am thinking of buying the mini Gucci Boston bag I prefer the leather strap over the guitar strap from lv and I don’t have to worry about the bag compared to the lv speedy 20 with the vachette

I would subscribe twice if I could! And the dog leash clip is called a trigger clip. Have you noticed they are now replacing the lovely clip on the Jackie 1961 with this trigger clip? Personally I don't like it. Doesn't feel as luxe as the Jackie is one of their more expensive bags.

Girls lets embrace casual chick and forget the kate Middleton look or succesion look.
Lets go back the more relaxed Sex and the city Carrey or Gossip girl Serena.
We dont need to be princessey all the time
