Cant decide between this and an MT09 for a first bike, I keep watching MT09 videos and they seem to just overtake cars with ease, is the MT07 still a fast bike and does it have enough power to pull away from traffic/overtake?
definitely fast enough for overtakes, the power drops off at about 105. Although i do think youd have more fun on a mt09 as it has the power the mt07 has through 1st and 2nd gear all the way until about 4th and 5th. I wouldnt be worried about overtakes they both do the job very well. mt07 sounds better in my opinion though.

@@Bigman-kq8ii tones better seating position wise and the dash is brighter, overall quality is better
