hi jivan! just wanted to say the reason you gained very little percent is purely based off the rank of the other players you kill (for example you gain much more rank for someone a higher rank than you compared to someone lower than you) and since you can go against even platinums when youre a high rank, you were probably killing much lower ranked opponents. i also wanted to say that fortnite said themselves that they did make it much harder to rank up specifically once you hit elite and above. hope this clears up any confusion!

I love all ur maps jivan! The practice one has helped me a lot!
there is 3 ways you can rank up
1. Kills
2. Placement
3. Ranked Quest
but when you rank up it also depends on how good the players were that you killed. ex. if im in diamond 2 and i kill a player that is in elite to champion i will rank up a lot compared to killing someone that has the same rank as me.
so that is why when you got 15 kill wins you only ranked up 17% because all the people that you killed were in the same rank as you and that is also why when you got 10 kills in top 10 you ranked up the same because you killed players that were in a higher rank than you.
*Plat I - Plat III goes against their same rank*
*Diamond I - Unreal goes against each other because there is now enough people in those ranks to get a full game of Diamond or Elite players.*

What i find to be the most impressive is the youtubers that get to me to be interested in a game that i dont play anymore. I feel like jivan is one of those people that can bring in an audience that might not play anymore, or have not played before. Jivan the reason you went up more some games when you lost compared to the ones you won is because the percentage is based on who you fight. If you fight a load of platinum players in diamond, you won’t go up, but if you fight elite or champion players in diamond, you will go up a ton.

The percentage gain is based almost solely on ranked quests and the rank of the people you kill. 25 duos could be worth less than 1 duo.

For us this speedrun was 30 minutes but for Jivan it was 11 hours you deserve unreal
you cant go from platinum to unreal in 30 minutes unless you dropped 20 off spawn and died within like 2 or 3 minutes every game

The games when you got more % towards your rank was because you completed ranked quest. Ranked quests are the main source to your % when trying to rank up

btw Jivan the percentage is based on endgame kills, in endgame the more kill u get u will get more percentage as if you were in early game, and also lets say u kill someone the same rank as you u might inly get like 3% but if u kill someone in unreal and ur diamond your percentage will go up a lot more than 3 %

Just by the way, it doesn’t matter as much for how high you place it matters about who you kill so the better the player and kill the higher percent you gets

The reason you didnt get 60% or 70% in the 30 bomb game is because more than half the kills were in the beginning of the game or half way to middle of game

I’m pretty sure whenever you kill someone who’s doing really good in the match your rank goes up more. And I think it only goes up super fast whenever you win consecutively.
