2023 Wrapped - Our National Work

From New Orleans to Dubai, we ramped up our national and global impact in 2023. Our William Julius Wilson Institute team hosted our second annual Power of Place convening, bringing hundreds of place-based leaders together in the Big Easy, and worked with over 20 cities to scale HCZ’s impact. Additionally, HCZ CEO Kwame Owusu-Kesse, HCZ Founder and President Geoffrey Canada, and HCZ Promise Academy Superintendent Dr. Achil Petit traveled to Dubai to attend the Alef Education Summit, an annual gathering of technology leaders exploring the latest innovations reshaping the global #EdTech sector. Here’s to a successful and happy New Year!
