Oh how I wish I were part of a literary/art circle! What a fun idea. With my friends, we have a Scholé Gathering where we share commonplace quotes and read a piece of literature together, usually an essay, poem, or chapter in a book. Also, The Guernsey and Potato Peel Pie Society was such a good book/movie!
A literary circle like this sounds so lovely! If you ever open it up to online members I’d love to join… it’s so hard to find friends who not only have an artist’s approach to life, but want to dedicate their art to God as well!
I am a fellow teacher (high school science), taught for 6 years so far. Continue making these videos!!! They make me SO happy! I love your theology and faith based book recommendations/ discussions. I want to read Art and the Bible. It is SO refreshing to hear from someone who has faith but also enjoys literature/ the arts.
It's a good idea! A little intimidating to invite strangers into something that I hope would be a safe, personal, and vulnerable space, so for me it would be ideal to meet the person and build a connection first before inviting them in, but it's definitely something I need to think more about!
Your handwriting is so pretty. 😊
😧 eeeek! How wonderful!
Loved your thoughts on the reading book. 📚♥️

I'd love to look into that one day, and will keep you posted!
I came here to say the same thing.😊

Thank you for the encouragement 😊
How about offering it up to colleges ? Art and literature students might like to join you on their spare time
