Hey Row! It’s so good to see you back. I’ve been watching your videos from the start, when I was just beginning honours and now I’m applying for masters! I’ve frequently gone back to your channel for inspiration and guidance. I can’t believe how relatable this video is.. I love psychology and love working with people but the idea of sitting in an office all day really doesn’t appeal to me. It’s really cool to hear the different types of opportunities out there. Perhaps a video on ‘non clinical’ psych roles? Would also like to hear your reflections on solo backpacking. Lastly, a video on tips for starting practice, as I and others prepare for client facing work next year. Glad you are well ❤
Heyy ! Welcome back Roanna! I would want you to make a video mainly talking about your solo experience I.e how did you manage to go solo and make new friends, how did you meet them etc and how did you not feel lonely going solo for months. I feel like most of us want to be in your shoes but they hesitate only because they’re afraid of the loneliness aspect of it. So would love to hear what you have to say.

I'm so grateful that you're back!! You were the one who really lit the spark in me of aiming to become someone related to psychology. I'm still in high school but I really want to achieve my dreams that I've set and I wanted you to know that you're the reason behind of me having a clear goal. Hi Ro. My name is also Ro. I wanted to let you know how helpful this video was for me. Psych has always been my goal. It is an area where I feel I can make a positive impact on peoples lives. However, I have just completed a psych degree and have been feeling conflicted about my next step as I have been worried that I wouldn’t enjoy being stuck in an office all day. Your video has reassured me that I can find a psych career that won’t leave me feeling stagnant.
I would love to hear more about where your career takes you.

Hi Ro! I am so so happy to be seeing you again! I started watching your videos nearing the end of my bachelor degree and now I'm finishing up on my scholarship selection process for my master program in Counselling and Psychotherapy with 2 LoAs from both of my dream universities in Australia 😭I never really comment on any UA-cam videos, but I would like to say thank you thank you so much for being one of my main inspirations to pursue masters!

I just quit my job, did some soul searching and now I plan on going back to uni to do a post grad in psych / counseling or mental health! Your channel has been so pivotal in my journey and I’m just so glad and grateful for you!

Welcome back!! 🥰 I’m so happy to hear that you’re feeling refreshed after taking some time off to travel, not to mention fulfilling a bucket list item too! Congratulations on your new role 🎉! It sounds really interesting and meaningful, and like you, I also had no idea it existed either.
I’m struggling through my postgraduate psych course as I type this. Aside from the workload itself, I’ve actually found it enormously difficult navigating this new identity, in the sense that I feel like psych is starting to consume my whole life. At the same time though, I also feel guilty for feeling this way, as I know how lucky I am to be in the course.
In terms of new videos, and of course it’s up to you what you post, but I would love to see videos about managing work-life balance as a psychologist (e.g., does it get better after we finish Masters, because I sincerely hope so 😅 and perhaps exploring which psychologist jobs tend to be better for work-life balance, say, schools, hospitals, private practice, etc.). Thanks again for this channel and sharing your journey with us ❤
This is such a lovely comment ❤️ Gosh masters was the most stressful time of my life I was definitely in the same boat. There were just so many hats to wear with clinic and research and placements and it's also all new. Keep it up it'll pass soon and I definitely found work life much more rewarding and less stressful. Good luck!
