Zootopia Judy Hopps cake model Zootropolis

- How to make Judy hopps from disney's Zootopia / Zootropolis as a cake topper using modelling paste / fondant or polymer clay.
In this video tutorial I show you how to make the character Judy Hopps from the new Disney film Zootopia! ( or Zootropolis if you are in the uk ) I use Laped modelling paste to create the Zootopia figure once I have created the structure from wire. I am using a dummy cake / polystyrene cake to insert the wire into. You could use regular gum paste / fondant with tylose powder, although I find the Laped modelling paste is a bit better for sculpting with. You can find links to all the products below. It took above 5 hours to make this Judy Hopps cake topper so I had to speed it up an awful lot to fit everything in.

2. Judy's eyes are purple not blue.

im new to cake model making and would like to know how she was able to keep her model in shape when working on it? For example the bunny's head, how did she manage to keep all details of the fur hair from flattening and keep the head shape round when fixing the eyes etc? cause whenever i work with fondant, my fingers often flatten or dent my fondant. Did she let them dry over night? cause the video looks like she did everything in one go?
I freaking commend you on your excellent work you have done to this..Ive watched so many of your videos ive gotten hungry and I want a cake now...but what I love the most is that this fondant stuff looks like gum. Would it be awful/bad to get fondant just to eat it?
