That 2nd fish is called a hog fish not a whiting. The king fish is a king fish but better known as a whiting. Also sea bass have to be 12 inches and can not be used as bait in any way it is part of the grouper family Game Warden would have a field day if he caught you doing it.
I was just watching this and was literally about to say all of that. When he said "that's a bunch of trash" my jaw dropped. You shouldn't do anything to fish without knowing the regulations so imho catch and release unless you're in the know.
@johnmelendres8974 I can know the limits and regulations by heart and they are the last thing I check before putting a line in the water found out the hard way they are subject to change with out warning
@@pieseasmyseas Oh definitely, if you plan on keeping fish then you should always make sure that you're following the guidelines prior to making that decision. Heck a few years back you could catch flounder all year in NC now if you catch them out of season you'll be in a world of trouble.
We've done it....and we are 70,s....couple rest stops and all was good !
You fished the Jetty?
Yes !
Awesome! Great spot!
Lovely footage 💥💥💥
Glad you enjoyed it

@johnmelendres8974 o I know I'm from NC and now only fish SC or VA because of the flounder B.S.
Love it
I love going there every year!
Congratulations great fish. How much does it cost to get in to park to fish jetty?
If I remember correctly it is around $10 a day for adults and $8 for kids
