@@annunakiarzu5733 bro, do you have any idea what the first nations people in canada had to go through? they were essentially wiped out by white people.
So much respects the Indigenous people the truly Canadians. I'm a Canadian citizen born in Brazil but I also have indigenous roots from Mayan's my mother from Guatemala and my Dad Guarani. We are all one!
I can certainly hear what you mean! Some very noticeable differences however many similarities! In particular the last syllable cascading off, very Kanaka Maoli. Great ear ☺️
Mine as well. I feel awful about what our ancestors did. I am taking a course in sociology right now; the focus is on our Indigenous Peoples! I welcome this new #learningjourney #openmindopenheart
I am from Canada and even though I'm not first nation, I love learning about our history. I would love to live a day of being with them and learning further more.

lol doing this for a school project so I didn't enjoy listening to it at first bc I was literally seething with anger for the horrible long-term supply we have but listening to it now I actually enjoy it a lot more. moral of the story? school ruins literally everything ever, I love writing but the minute I had to write for class I absolutely hated it, I wanted to die. anyways this was actually super nice outside of school! :)

That's only due to colonial era arbitrary and confusing classifications. In the US there's also the Inuit, and also close groups like Yupik and Aleut but they're not considered different from Native Americans. But in the US all native people in Alaska, whether Arctic or not are classified differently.
What is real name of this Land? In end of 19 th centery ,named Kanata, Any body knows how was it call? Or you appiered in that Land in that about time? Folks live here forever, the question: " where did came from?" Thank you
A meteor killed a lot of tribes in Canada. Destroyed beautiful cities and who knows what else was lost. 😞 just when the tribes started rebuilding, the white man came across the ocean and killed off a third of the natives.
A true example of systemic racism - Canada's INDIAN ACT? The INDIAN ACT reduced Canada's Aboriginal peoples to legal status as minors. Therefore the Ottawa government of Canada set up a system of apartheid against the First Nations. This discriminatory system must be considered as systemic racism since it is based on laws and principles consciously developed and accepted by the majority of citizens even today. This reality, unworthy of a country that calls itself evolved, largely determines the troubled relations that have existed between Aboriginals and non-Aboriginals since 1876. An example of discrimination resulting from this law: The INDIAN ACT does not confer any property rights on the Native people since it is impossible for them to buy the lands in the reserves, this one being the exclusive property of the Crown, Crown which belongs to the British Monarchy to which King Charles III was recently elected non-democratically, in office by blood ties only. This state of affairs therefore limits the ability of Aboriginal people to borrow and reduces their financial autonomy. They have different rights from other citizens simply because of their Aboriginal status. This form of segregation is a blatant demonstration of systemic racism. And Canada has NEVER honored a single treaty with Canada's First Nations.
The Inuit sounds so other worldy and beautiful
sound like something contemporary composers get to through the ages of study
It is. Spiritual.

First Nations, Metis and Inuit are three different Indigenous Peoples in Canada. Inuit are included in the video but they are not First Nations.
How so. Is it the name?
Wasn't the white man here 9 months before the Metis ?
It's only Canadian state classifications
Even though im from Canada and im not indigenous i feel the indigenous blood rushing through me

Sorry, this was for a school project and time was quite limited at the time.
That's only three of them. And the Inuit are not considered first nations, despite also being Indigenous.
