stainless spinning trials

Steelhead Composites tested some new dome designs on seamless stainless steel last week. The forming takes place at 1150 C - 1250 C (2,100 F - 2,300 F) -- a truly jaw-dropping temperature. This is more than 3x the requirement for forming domes on our aluminum cylinders.
