Thank you so much! For anyone thinking of doing embroidery floss, let me steer you away! I wanted to use up some I already had, but ended up needing 3-4 skeins per ball and spending way more than if I'd just bought some new yarn. This is a very good trick she's done here, and I'll be doing it if I make any more.
I just can’t figure out how to hang it ? Where to hang it from? From the ceiling using a tape ? My ceilings are too high for me to reach. Also where to find time doing all those? You should make a video on how to manage time / make time for everything (making toys / preparing activities aside the cooking cleaning using shower etc) I mean I really struggle to do it all
So pretty! I can’t wait to start making them for baby 3. They get so expensive when you buy them online. Could you imagine using embroidery thread though. That would take forever!
Thank you so much! And yes... we ALMOST went the embroidery thread route... but I already had all my yarn picked out and I couldn’t find the same colors in the embroidery thread. Even then, it still took me FOREVER to cover each ball! 😂
Thank you for the plans (and including your yarn colors!) I just made this and it turned out great!! I wonder if drilling the first hole might help with the off center problem? It made covering the ball a bit harder because some of mine were so far off. Oops.
First comment in a while! So sorry lovely! Congratulations on the baby!!! And by the way that mobile is awesome!!! I love hay you made this! Love the tones of blue! I could use those yarn for my blanket hahaha I ran out of the mixed blue I have been using hahaha!!! Such an easy tutorial :)!!
I believe that yarn is used because the montessori method puts an emphasis on natural materials. Using yarn will also give the balls a more appealing texture and look
When I watched this I wasn't aware each ball would take 30min to an hour to make 😂 got about 2 and a half done before just wrapping the yarn around the balls without putting a hole in the middle. Hopefully it works just as good cuz I'm strugglingggg with this.
The Gobbi mobile has spheres that present a smooth gradation of a single color. What is the benefit of having a gradation of just one color instead of having 5 different colors?
This may be a silly question - if the black and white one is for 3-6 weeks, the primary colour one 5-8 weeks, and this is 7-10, how do you know when to swap them over? Is there a rule of thumb?

👏👏👏 this is an excellent tutorial. Thank you!
Love all of these! How did you hang it on your ceiling?
This mobile is so pretty, love it♥️! Mia is such a lucky baby to have a mom like you, Ashely! I am going to try this whenever we have another baby :).
Thank you so much! I absolutely LOVE how it turned out... My favorite mobile thus far!

Hapa Family omg I’m sure! But it turned out perfect!
I'm doing embroidery now and it's taking so long!!! 😭😅
So could I just take random objects and paint them ombré like these balls or does it need to be textured and the same exact same items?

Are you going to make a tutorial on the dancers mobile as well?

Thank you for the Video. Can these be simply painted? why yarn is used?

Beautiful mobile! Great DIY tutorial. 😃
Thank you, and you’re welcome!
Hi love your channel long time viewer first time commenter .. just curious will you be releasing a video about the 4th mobile ?
So pretty! But question: can you make the mobile with any colour you like? Or do you have to make the mobiles blue?
Can I get this & the others to purchase from you?

How did it work out?
Looks Awesome! I tried it without seeing your video and it looks so bad 😂
Is it too late to do this if your baby is older than 7 to 10 weeks?
no as long as they are intrested
my baby is 3 months old is this something i should invest in making?

How high can i hang the mobile? My baby girl is 13 weeks old…
What about the dancer mobile? You never posted a video about it. What week should I introduce?

wonder if during the overlapping time you alternate between the two mobiles
Would this work by painting the balls instead?
