Here is my brother's CA story.
1. CPT Cleared with 150+ marks in 2009.
2. Both IPCC group cleared in 2011.
3. Articleship completed from Mumbai with a reputed firm for 3 years. Time period 2011-2014.
So far so good. He was confident enough for CA Final so the family members but who knows what is going to be happen in CA Final.
2014: Failed
2015: Failed
2016: Failed
2017: Failed
2018: Failed (in all the above attempts marks was between 182-195 in First group)
2019: CA Final 1st group cleared.
2020: CA 2nd group failed due to Corona
2021: CA 2nd group failed. Marks: 194
2022 May: CA 2nd group in one exam he got exemption. But failed. Marks: 195
2022 Nov: He wants to reappear in the exam.
What he has lost in so many years?
1. He did not socialize to anybody and now even don't want to bcoz of CA status.
2. He does not have enough confidence to face the world.
3. He does not involve in any of the family functions actively.
4. Recently he got married but does not seems to be happy bcoz of this CA status.
5. He has lost his memory power which he has used to be.
And this impact has to face to the family members as well.
He has given the authority to judge his life by CA exams and did not have any other motive to live happily. Every 2nd week we need to visit the doctor for his mental health.
What type of course is this? I did not understand so far. What they want to check in the exam or why there are so many attempts are open? I thing orgainzation has to take action for the number of attempts. There is no point to repeat the same Syllabus if a candidate appearing in this exam and specially if the age is between 25-30. I have seen a toxic to toxic environment due to this. He was not able to ready for a Job, he does not have much professional skills. I don't know what and to whom he want to proof that I am a CA after spoiling golden years of his life. IT IS NOT WORTH IT AT ALL IN MY OPINION. And this problems is faced by many CA Finalists who does not have any alternative carrer option in the fast changing world with the help of latest technology.
In my opinion one should fix his/her no. Of attempts. As there are lots of opportunities in this world CA is not the first or last hope.
Just give 100 % in studies and 100 %in attempting the paper. If Even after this result is negative then give it up. Plan something new, work upon that. You have your whole life to do something. Don't just run after one degree.
Accpet your failure ( whether you have failed after giving your 100%or not giving 100%.).just accept it that it was meant to happen.
Focus on making yourself skilled. Beacause in today's world you don't need a degree to be a successful person. There are a lot of example who have no degree but they have established history by their success.
Study to get knowledge not to get degree. Study to improve your skills not to get a piece of paper called degree.
Live life. You have got it only for once. Make every day of your life count.
I don't know if my words are of help to you or not, but I really wish you to not be so hard on yourself.
Please don't give up on yourself for just one degree.

I did my articleship from 2009 to 2012 cleared final group 1 in nov. 12 then not passed in grp2 in many attempt and move on in life...but after getting some realisation, strt studying again in 2019 cleared grp2 in July21.
Congratulations brother on becoming a CA! You cleared group 1 November 13. Paper was extremely tough in that attempt. Pass percentage was 3 percent.
My grp 2 is still left
I cleared grp 1 in 2016 n still grp 2 is pending..

After 3rd attempt i joined MNC and now after 10 years i qualified CA in sept 2021 now i have 10 years of experience in company where big 4 are auditors , lets see what mgt had done favrably for me..

I have suffered a lot doing this. It's not worth putting your life in it. Very rightly said it's not the best course to stop the life for it. The worst is that when u finally do it after multiple failures a new challange is waiting to get a good job n so on. The biggest problem is it is a nashaa a after some extent you take it on ego. My friend there are so many other things waiting you can do. Also ICAI is spoiling life of many students by making distinction in old course and new course. See the level of difference in old corse CA final papers n new course. I can give much more gyaan but hats off to u buddy
@@priyooedits4331 bro I'm sorry to say this if you are taking 3 attempts in CA foundation it's not for you, it's good that you haven't put a lot into it yet. You can do CFA or MBA ( preferably) Even tier 2 MBA grads get 9-10 lacs which is the case in CA.
I'm not trying to hurt your ego, but if i was your brother I would have told you to leave and do something else.
A few have achieved after tremendous failures in this course ( like people who have cleared after 15-20 attempts) it's not persiverance it's sheer stupidity and that they get a 8-9lacs job which they would have got with any other course, I'm not saying CA course is bad but when you feel it's not for you let it go.
Be good at something you like than being a average CA.

Maybe that's the reason. Why students frustrated the course. After giving number of attempts!
The only thing is after your hard work your number of attempts only matters nothing else ...and thats the fault of companies...

In 8th I was of the opinion that I will do anything but not CA.... BUT in 2013
I started my journey with CPT and clrd in first attempt then ... I thought of going ahead with ipcc ... 3rd attempt 2016 I clrd grp 1 and started with article and in next 2nd attempt I clrd grp 2
Then completed my articles in 2018 final first attempt in 2019
Side by side I completed my bcom mcom and MA in Kathak ( dance ) and during lockdown started with classes and in 2021 I joined in school as dance teacher
and clrd group 2 in Nov 21
Now I am left with grp 1 and I am feeling like stuck from all sides .... Last attempt nov 22 I scored 170 as m not working in CA profile I can not take leaves other than exam days ....
Right now m totally fed up with books and studies but also another thought is now I hv invested my 7 to 8 yrs if I quite then may b these yrs will be like waste of time
But whenever I think abt studies m not able to push myself right now .....
Just give 2 to 3 months may be it will change your whole life

umm well ACCA is more expensive like you need to pay for each paper and there are 13 subjects... i suggest you try something like CMA cuz those are cheaper

I'm sorry sir. Please don't demotivate us sir. Failure or overcoming failure is not quitting a course. If one is being failed, it doesn't mean that that person is not capable but he/her is not trying to know his/her capability.

Sir just told the reality behind CA course ... Because there is so much hype about this course undoubtedly this is one of the best course but sticking to it after 4-5 attempts is not good ...
There are other alternative courses also which do provide same salary and knowledge as of CA
So it completely depends on the person and his situation who is doing it

I completed my CA inter in 2014 and started writing Final from 2017 till 2018 after that i came in govt job (contractual) post and l stopped studying than 2023 november i again wrote group1 but got very less marks (less than 30 in all) what should i do should i prepare for CLG or complete CA. I have a keen observation here that is not talked about at all.
A lot of students at CA foundation have formed a cult of dillusioning new applicants. The modus operandi is.. They preach that it is the very nature of CA curriculum that multiple attempts are very natural due to difficult course which is not the situation of foundation level at all.
Then they flood comments of student who are failing to not let them remorse and don't let them grow internal motivation and grad them into a cycle of continuous failures just at the foundation level

Bhai main bhi CPA or ACCA karunga just after CA intermediate exam.
Abroad Jane ki kya zaroorat hai Bhai yeah course's toh yeah bhi mil jayegi
you cannot go immediately. You cant pursue the courses abroad either since both are self study courses that is unless you have a family abroad. Also do note that both courses are relatively expensive. Good luck!

I was always an average student started my ca journey in 2019 I gave my foundation exam in nov 2019 I got failed then in next attempt for may 20 covid came and attempt got canceled in nov 20 I reappeared but got failed then in may21 i reappeared and got passed I decided to continue I gave intermediate group 1 in may 22 and passed then I gave intermediate group 2 in nov 22 and got failed I decided that should start the articleship as I think I have appeared once for group 2 so i will be able to pass in next attempt but in next attempt which is may23 i failed once more ( but got exemption in one subect so thought I have to only 3 subject) somehow managed my self and gave the third attempt of ca inter group 2 and got failed for third time in row and now I broked down thinking I am made for this course or not I should continue this course or not Ek pal koi khayal ataa hai let's continue this course iss course mein itni mehnat kari hai beech mein nahi chorte hai
Par pata hai abb ca kii new couse scheme aa gayi hai jismein subject mein bahut new topics add ho gaye hai aur mujhe pass hone ke liye dono subject mein 50 + lane honge dono subjects theoretical hai aur theory subjects hii meri sabse badi weakness hai mein har exam mein theory subjects mein 40-45 hii laa pata voh bhi badi mushkil see lagata hai nahi hoo payega

It's better to opt for LLB or MBA rather than opting for CA

If you see the amount of study Dr's do
5-6 MBBS 3.5 years MD
And even after that they Pursue DM fellowship etc in multiple domains so basically they Study along with work for most of their Adult life
You have only 4 papers left don't loose heart
1 year 2 years even 3 years doesn't matter from here
Keep your mind set strong pursue career take proper coaching now classes are in pendrive select a particular attempt after fair prep take 1 month off from job and give your papers with full force you will clear it 👍

Bro this course is not for direct entry ( me being myself direct entry student, this is the best time for you to leave the course, just don't be stuck in life for this course, now during articleship since your mind is always working you will not feel anything, but when you complete articles you will feel stuck completely
2nd option is that you strictly give single group everytime and try to complete atleast 1 group during articleship.
You should try some other course as a backup because 20s is the precious time to try something new, believe me.
And another thing bro Don't miss out on life for this course.
I have completed my articleship in 2000 and cleared my 1st grp of final in 2006. Still writing gr.2 of final.

Now I have taken coaching for intermediate but I need to financially support my family as well. Pls suggest whether I should quit or not. What are the other options available.

I am in age group of 22.5 yrs and done 3 attempts I don't want to waste my time here in precious 20's planning to shift to ACCA in 1 year and planning to prepare for CAT and GMAT along with job instead of wasting myself here till 25

Sir not about ego but if I am unable to clear my CA Final exams then I won't be able to survive it Sir. Then I should only die. It is not about salary package or requirement of professional degree, it is because I have devoted so many years of my life in to it sir. From 2016 CPT to currently CA Final. I don't think that any job, any amount of money or respect can keep me from just ending my life in case I do not pass.
Any course is not valuable more than ur life.

@@jeevankumar7467 I am sorry I am unable to think anything else after my CA Final July 21 results. The lines between right and wrong seem to have faded. I cannot give guarantee for my life. My parents will be sad for 1-2 weeks may be. After that they will forget it and move on. Everything will be alright in the world. The world won't stop spinning without me in it.

One of my friend gave up in ca course in ipcc but now he is earning more than a ca in business though he hadn't strong financial background but..he didn't give up. N pls you don't. So many ppl are there who are physically challenged or those poor ones who don't even get food of three times. I cleared my 1st group of intermediate exam in November2022 attempt, I posted my comment in May 2022 , at that time I was really very depressed, i couldn't read properly, that was a very tough time but then I decided to appear my examination, I failed, then I decided, next attempt is my last attempt if I couldn't clear I will left my CA , then I started again with new mind set and I cleared......
So don't guilt on your self give chance to your self....you can do it

Sir.. I'm in this course from 2011..
CPT in 2 attempts., that was dec 11..
Then Inter G-1 in 2 attempts.. and G-2 in 4 attempts..
1st attempt of final was May 2016.. and I cleared my G-2 in Dec. 2020..
As July 21 was not cleared., so now preparing for G-1..
I know.. I'm not at right path.. but I think.. now It's too late to even quit the course.. still.. sometime., I think.. what is the benefit of it.. bcz there is not even any job opportunities for students like me!

U do u need to do a job ..rather do practice as ca... Open ur own ca office ..make ur own clients and earn everyday ...there are 100s of way to earn that are realted to ca ..like it file, audit ,accounts preparation, dsc, certification.

Tell him to study hard & prepare properly & clear group 2... Have seen many people who have taken multiple attempts in inter but have cleared final in one ,two or three attempts..

I really want to give u honest decision agar ca foundation 3 attempt lagate no matter what's the reason please quit it .. Pursue something else there is lot of optionnnnn
First decide what u want to do in life ur interests what is the best and fastest way to achieve it if it doesn't align with ca leave it &promise urself ur gonna work hard 16 hrs every day for ur dream or u can take a break from ca and go for ur passion all the best👍
