My first was so laid back, slept well, fed well etc and my second had colic and lived in my arms for 9 months and definitely knew what she wanted from the world lol
We had 6 kids in 10 years. Each one was so different, some easy, some challenging, and 1 with Down Syndrome that was the most challenging. We made it thru, you will too!! The quilt is adorable!!!!!
Hey Stefanie, just wanted to encourage you; as Thora's mum you know her best, trust that mother's instinct. My son was " failure to thrive" but I felt he was growing more in length than weight. He caught up on his weight eventually & now he's 38, 6ft 4 & a university teacher. You're doing a wonderful job, she looks like she's thriving to me! Greetings from Australia.
Honey, you're way too hard on yourself, but l get it. My boys were night and day different. I remember crying at the pediatrician office. He said, "oh Mom, you're doing fine! He's going to grow up in spite of you worrying." And they did! You and Kameron are so loving and caring. It's going to be just fine! I loved the quilt! I want an adult sized one! ❤
Steph. My 40 yr old daughter suffered from debilitating migraines for years. Nothing helped. Not even the magic meds at the ER. Somehow she heard about this place and what great results people received. It took her awhile to get all her paperwork together & get an appt but she spent 2 1/2 weeks inpatient. I went along & could stay in her room. One entire floor is just for migraine patients. Long story short, tremendous results and found her go-to is regular Botox. I know it's a long way, Chicago, but so worth it. We're in Iowa. Sending the info if you want to check it out.
4 kids here. Each one totally different. They are adults now and one has passed due to cancer. They didn't look like they were related to each other, or to me or their dad. Totally different personalities. The second ran rings around her big sister and was always the boss of the kids. And the third was our high needs kid. Had to be attached and latched on 24/7. The fourth was our mellow little guy. He just slotted right in. But he threw some awesome tantrums right around the one year mark. He would literally whack his head on the floor. Not so bad when we were living in a house with a basement so the floor wasn't solid but when we were at Grandma's house with a concrete slab he gave himself a goose egg. I still miss them being little.
Hi all lovely friends how are you happy Monday night and happy Tuesday night and happy Tuesday morning to you and I enjoy your channel and you all amazing supporter
I can relate to having two children who are so different - my first daughter was so laid back and easy going, loved quiet time with me when we would read books together. She was 2 when her sister arrived like a hurricane - at 6 months she would cry just to get my attention, something I would have poopooed before I experienced it myself! We had to have an activity planned every day - the first thing she said after breakfast, was 'what are we going to do today'! But its thanks to her that I bumped into an old school friend I had lost touch with - but, now in her 40s she is as head strong as ever, and still challenges me. My son is more like his older sister - but I am so proud of all 3 of my children. You have such a lovely family - thank you for sharing your story.
You are doing just fine as a Mom Stefanie! I’m glad Thora is thriving, so is Kieran! ❤️❤️ You are the best Mom there could be! You love your kids and it shows! Love your Halloween 🎃 👻 quilt! You are talented! ❤️❤️
Stephanie, you are doing better than great. Look at your kids. They are happy and healthy and thriving. You know how to do this without putting so much stress and pressure on yourself. Those babies are beautiful and so so loved ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Yes, mine are night and day difference. We never had another one, but I always said a third baby would surely have to be somewhere in the middle personality wise. My feisty second child still tries me every day but she has also made me laugh every single day…for 14 years now. I totally understand your feelings!
You can tell your kids are siblings, they look like each other. They are soo adorable. And I'm sure they do things to make you smile or laugh. That's how it was for me when my kids were little. 💙🎀
So Love your Special Story about how Thora Smiles at you Every Morning...You are a Loving Special Caring Mother...Both of you are Loving Caring Parents...Sending you lots of hugs ...
Ah hoping you get great relief from an adjustment! That play place looks so fun! Contorted back after a fall or weird sitting for too long (while nursing etc) is the fastest way to a migraine for me too!
Chill girlie. You discount yourself....you are far superior than most seriously. Enjoy your kids ...be confident my dearest trust me you rock!!! Plz!!!
I just adore ur videos u def have a skill the bee on the flower the colors with the autumn stuff at store or catching ur sons facial expressions. Great video my friend ty for sharing
My granddaughters are like that. The oldest one was so easy to care for and her little sister was much more difficult. Their personalities are so different!
Second baby watches the oldest so it appears they are learning quicker because they are. I have 4 daughters and they are all different! The kids are the cutest and I love watching your channel! ❤
I think it's common for siblings to have opposite personalities. My oldest was chill, still is at 15. My youngest is hell on wheels. Has been since birth.
You look beautiful, Stefanie, your children are gorgeous and I could watch you sew for days. My mom was a beautiful seamstress and I so miss the humming of her machine
Daughter -10 years old - easiest kid, never gets in trouble, never have to scold Son - (would be 7 now) he’s an angel now but he was all boy. Loud, never listened, always in trouble, couldn’t listen for nothing.
oh wow i have several quits my grandma made and they are all tied off, when you said that it reminded me of her thank you, if you are going to use the buttons are you not afraid of them coming off
My first was my crazy baby but chill kid, my second was the chillest baby and wildest kid lol. But also I noticed with both my kids that when they breastfed they gained weight like crazy and when we formula fed it slowed down a bunch because it digested slower/they weren't as hungry all the time. Don't worry about baby's weight if everything else is good ❤️ your instincts/ seeing her as an individual is absolutely on point!
I’m glad you’re listening to her and following her lead. It took me to child 5 to learn that. I spent so much time completely freaked out. I know it’s not for everyone but I didn’t even get my last child weighed. They are all different and sometimes the “professionals” forget that. As long as your baby is doing all the right things then don’t get too hung up on weights. My daughter is now 10 a maths genius and just scored a goal for her girls football (soccer) team 💪🏻
@zoebowler5664 yes, I am trying to take what ped said with a grain of salt. Thora is gonna be Thora and she may be taking after Kameron's family's growth patterns. We can't all he HULK babies like Kieran 🤣
@@StefanieandKameron it is actually funny they expect all just to follow the same chart 🙄 I used to see different health visitors and each one told me something different… that’s the point I realised that my baby is the one to listen too 💖
Every baby is truly different. Go with your mama gut ! I had four and I felt crazy sometimes with the different personalities and needs but it was a hilarious time and I really miss it. Remember days are long but years are fast ❤
I wear the same clothes two days in a row too! It's not disgusting it makes sense! I usually wear clothes out to run a few errands then change back into my comfy home clothes/ pj's, so the going out clothes aren't dirty yet, only worn a couple hours. Totally get it 😁 new undies though lol
All my babies were calm and easy and chill, but their personalities really came out and changed and they’re so different now that they are three and two! We have a 4 month old baby to and he’s super chill and happy! All babies are so different! ❤❤

My only child is the wild one ...he seems to go in all four directions at times...I understand your anxiety, I never had a chubby baby due to his heart condition he's always been thin...thin but thriving...we have to take it one step at a time ...
Need to add the thumb nail is a beautiful pic of you and Thora. Yes. I have 2 sons 7 years apart. My first was wide open from day one. My second was the chill son. I'm old but remember this from home ec. We also studied human reproduction. Typically females are head of males in learning and developing. Sending ❤️ and big 🐻 hugs from north Ga. Thank goodness fall is early here. I love it!
My adorable and v experienced childminder told me they often see laidback easygoing babies turn completely at 1 to become really demanding, 'difficult' toddlers, whereas demanding babies (e.g. cannot be put down or wait for anything) turn around 1 into the most happy placid souls to be around., funny that, and roughly fits my number 1 and 2 child!
Aww Stefanie don’t stress too much. You’re fantastic. Anxiety triggers are real. And sometimes docs can say the stuff in the darnest way. Ms Thora is perfect. Like her brother. ❤
Stefanie, I have had migraines for many years and found a prescription Med that 90% of the time it is gone within an hour or so. The med is called Relpax and there is a generic. My headaches are always tied to neck pain. My pain doctor says she has found that Relpax works for most. The key is to take it when you start to feel the headache coming on. Also, just FYI, the second child is usually more of a hellion. I used to say the more they came the more independent and daring they get. Most others I know have had the same situation.
Hi Stephanie Thora looks amazing and healthy I'm sure you know your baby better than anyone. Babies are different my first son would not sleep. My daughter was totally quiet and relaxed, my third daughter was full on. It's amazing how different. Adults they are all wonderful. Love that quilt Stephanie absolutely gorgeous. 💖💖💖💙💙
I'm cracking up listening to you describe the differences in your babies at the same ages. Many years ago, a friend of mine said to me that if she had had her second child first she might not have had a second child because her first was so chill and her second sooooo wild. :)
My 2.5 yo toddler is underweight since she was born. I constantly worry. Even though her paediatrician is not happy with the stats she acknowledged how vibrant and alert my daughter is so that gives me confidence that its just her small built like my husband. We can only do our part offering food every 2 hrs but ultimately kids choose how much they want to eat.
The differences between the experience you're having with your daughter versus your son totally makes sense. I only have two daughters but most of my friends have sons and my girls always were doing all the things much younger than the boys. Also a lot more emotional wild and crazy
My kids were OPPOSITE in just about every way possible. And still now, as adults they are very very different. My son was the wild child, and my daughter was so chillaxed. But somewhere along the way, they switched. Now my son is more chill than my daughter in lots of ways. She was definitely easier as a child and he is easier as an adult. She was a more relaxed infant too. You just learn to roll with it. You and I had to deal with the additional fear and anxiety after losing our first babies to stillbirth. I think that really ups our anxiety that most moms don’t deal with. It gets easier once they get to the point where they can communicate with you. It helps once they can describe what they’re feeling. I was always so fearful when they were sick especially. I bought Kieran a book called “The Littlest Angel” that I had when I was a little girl. So it’s definitely pre-owned but in great condition. I just feel like he looks just like the little Angel. He has the blond curly hair. It’s so cute. Could I send it to Kam’s work? The only bad thing, is where it says in the front, this book is for--another mama filled out her children’s names. Lastly, Delilah is about to hit a year old, based on what you guessed her age was when you found her and what the vet guessed she was when I first took her in. We gave her the birth date of Oct 1. So she’s almost a year old! Ohhhhhh she’s just something else! We just adore her sassy little self. Yesterday she put herself to bed without me. And even crawled under the quilt from the bottom of the mattress. My husband took a picture of the lump and brought it to me. Then last night she was meowing at me, and I turned and looked and she was on top of the exhaust bell over the stovetop. Little show off. I keep telling her to stay off the stove, so now she walks across it non-stop….just to prove she’s her own cat I guess. I told you SASSSSSSY! But secretly we get a big kick out of her big personality. She’s still small though. No more than 7 pounds I’d guess. So it’s a lot of personality for a small body. We adore her. I love love the Halloween quilt you made. Don’t get too cheap! It looks worthy of a good price to me! And the idea of the little black buttons to quilt it was a great idea. I always did like your mom and tied them off with yarn. My best friends mom used to used a huge quilting hoop and actually quilt designs in- between the designs if that makes sense. That was way too much for me for sure!! Take care! Hope your head is feeling better.
My firstborn was an easy baby. I had to wake her up to feed her and the PA that we saw told me that she wasn’t eating enough or gaining enough weight. The pediatrician we saw after that was fine with her weight as long as she kept gaining. My daughter remained a little underweight until she was around 10, but my family had issues with too much weight, so I wasn’t worried. My son ate enough to make up for his sister and they had (and still have) very different personalities from each other, although they both tend to be quieter, like me.
To answer your question about the big difference between babies/ siblings… my two sons were the „same“ like your kids Stefanie. My first was so much relaxed his whole years from the beginning, my second boy was a bundle of strong endless energy… you are lucky that your son is so calm with himself so you can handle everything else much more better, this is my experience with my boys and I TOTALLY understand what you mean… Thora has a lot of will power from day one, never boring, that’s for sure 👌
All kids are so different it all ways, personalities and even how they eat. I found some doctors mean well but they go too much by statistics and what the medical books tell them, stressing mums out. Each baby/child is different. As long as they are healthy and happy, every person is a individual not a number.
What artificial sweetner was in the iced drink you had prior to headache? I cannot use anything except sugar regardless of how natural it claims to be.
Stop worrying! You are her mother, and you know more about her than the doctor. I brought my kids home from the hospital with rice cereal. And yes, i fed them with a spoon. It was more liquid than thickness but they slept through the night at a very early again because they were satisfied. My first son had Pyloric Stenosis, which is an obstruction of the upper intestine, and he had surgery on his 2month birthday! He would eat his meal and throw up all the way across the room! I'm not kidding with such force. And when he was 2 mos. he only weighed 8.3 oz. the doctor said I was an over worried mother! Well I took him to another doctor and he literally carried him across the street to the hospital and fed him a bottle of barium and he had surgery the next day. By Christmas he had dbld .his weight. He survived with great expectations, and needless to say I switched doctors immediately. Because i was with them 24/7 and they became great eaters. They are all grown now, and are very healthy. Just calm down and let her do her thing. She will let you know. She looks like a very healthy beautiful baby to me! You are a great mother, but don't let it overwhelm you if something doesn't work out! That's call life. She will form her own opinion about the food and the way you are feeding her. She is a beautiful blessing! Just enjoy her! 🥰
I got 2 out going and 2 not so out going .oldest and second out going my younger two not rly out going very shy and quiet be alone. I'm an out going my ex husband was not out going. R i.p joker dec8th he passed kidney liver heart diabetes .
Of course, I've seen it many times: if the first baby is very sweet and easy going, the next will be pretty difficult. But it doesn't say anything about what type of person they'll be one day; my sis was a calm and chubby sweetheart and I was extremely energetic and demanding - today it's the other way around.
Absolutely love the Halloween quilt!!! Can I ask for your advice. I have two 8 year old cats and a 4 month old kitten. My older male is on metabolic dry food, my female is on urinary dry food and then the kitten has his kitten dry. I don't know how to feed them without the older cats eating the kitten food. It's bad for my older cats as they are heavy. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Stefanie you are such an amazing mama. You are doing great with your babies. I'm sorry you have anxiety and migraines. I have both too but much older than you. I hope you, Kameron, Kieran and Thorla have a wonderful day. ❤
My sister us chilled out person takes her a lot to get worked up whilst I put up with so much then take action. So totally different as sisters. So they will be different have their own little characters. Great. ❤😮
If my daughter was alive today, I do believe she would have been more reserved and quieter than her little brother. I found footage of my son moving around in my belly for 8 minutes straight-he was so active that I knew he was alright almost immediately if I started to worry. With his sister, she was much quieter, I think. I had to stop to check if she would move but with my son, he had the most aggressive kicks, and now, he is such an active toddler, and he does have tantrums every now and then😅
Love you guys and thank you for sharing your beautiful family with us all💕Love your Halloween 🎃 blankets, they are too cute 👻🍁🍂🫶 Sending much love from Debra in Maine 🌸🍁🌼🍂🫶
My "kids" are 42, 39 and 36. They were and are now still very different personalities. When they were younger they did not got along. My son is in the middle of two daughters. They are all close now. they all have children of their own and the cousins gets along as good friends. They range in age from 5-20 but some are really close in age. We all live within half hour of each other. Even within my grandchildren who are siblings - they are very different and unique. I like a world like that. It would be (imo) a boring existence otherwise.

Yep, my two were opposite personalities too.
Very cute!
I raised three, a boy and two girls. All different. I’m sure Thora will be fine! ❤
The blanket looks so good!
100% yin and yang babies between my first (son) and second (daughter) I blame it on my daughter being a carbon copy of me.
Other my goodness that is so cuteeeeeee🎉❤
What artificial sweetner was in the iced drink you had prior to headache? I cannot use anything except sugar regardless of how natural it claims to be.
It was just iced tea. No sweetener.
Oh yes!
My oldest and middle child are very different also.
🧡🎃🧡🎃😺🧡😺🧡Happy Fall 🧡🍂🍁🍂🍁🧡
My first was a terror a boy. Still is at 46. My second 2 girls were pretty good. Now 44 and 34. Yep they are all different.
You have nothing to be ashamed of. ❤
Your little ones are doing great ❤❤
My sister us chilled out person takes her a lot to get worked up whilst I put up with so much then take action.
Lindsay was my crazy one! Haha
😂😂
However she was the best teenager/young adult!
The baby quilt is adorable!!
Love the quilt!
Cute quilt
Have you ever tried Sumatriptan? It takes my migraines away within 30 minutes.
1st babies, or in you case 2nd, are easy, laid back babies, my 2nd gave me a run for my money, at least what I’ve experienced 😂😂😂 She’s beautiful ❤
I love the blanket 🙌🏼
My "kids" are 42, 39 and 36. They were and are now still very different personalities. When they were younger they did not got along. My son is in the middle of two daughters. They are all close now. they all have children of their own and the cousins gets along as good friends. They range in age from 5-20 but some are really close in age. We all live within half hour of each other. Even within my grandchildren who are siblings - they are very different and unique. I like a world like that. It would be (imo) a boring existence otherwise.
I think it looks good
It's a super cute blanket 🥰🥰
I’ve had a migraine for five days now. It’s literally put me in bed. 🤢🤯
Damn, hun. I'm so sorry!! I ended up having to do tylenol, motrin, and magnesium to tame this beast. I hope you feel better soon!
@@StefanieandKameron I caved and took the samatrapam it knocked me out and has taken the edge off it. I think I will poke out my swollen eyes and remove my brain if it doesn’t go away soon 🤣
