They're excellent bikes, I own a 2000 gen 1 model, and it's still a blast! and still going strong after 25 years! But I would like a new one to put beside it in the garage ! Good review, Cheers 👍
I’m going to pick this up in few weeks I heard very good things about this bike. When I get it going to upgrade the exhaust pipe to carbon fiber and headlight to LED
Excellent review! The bike is also suitable for long rides: a 45 liter top case and a duffel bag over the rear seat is all you need for a week long journey. Give it a try!
What was your journey across bikes? Did you start off on the sv650 or was it another bike? Also if you could go back and talk to your past self would you recommend this bike to him or tell him to start off with a lower cc bike?
Hi, the sv650 is my first motorbike but before that I used to ride big and smaller scooters. It’s important though, to point out the difference between a beginner bike and a bike suitable to beginners. The latter refers to the sv650. Going back I would have taken an mt09 because it’s more brutal in the delivery and more powerful but I would recommend it to a beginner beginner. Hope that helps
Thanx for your excellent video!!! I am myself a 50 years old total beginner and want hopefully to buy this beauty as my first bike 👌. My second choice is the Honda CB500x, different bike but also beginner friendly, what do you thing!? Looking forward to have a test drive soon and to decide 🤪 , ride safe bro and wish you all the best from Serbia 🇷🇸✌️
Hi Alen thank you very much for your feedback. The Suzuki sv650 is an excellent bike for beginners but it got enough power to entertain you even in the years to come once you improve your skills. I am pretty sure the Honda is good too but less powerful and in my opinion not as good looking as the sv. 😊
Good question but the answer is not easy. There are many factors to consider but ultimately it depends on your subjective preference. Although mt07 and sv650 belongs to the same category, specs and price they are very different. I will try to cover the differences in a new video
Thanks for the review! I love this bike. I own a 2023 SV650. Cheers!

Sounds like a good plan 😁
Make a video of your upgrade motorcycle when is finished!
This headlight is TRUE SUZUKI ICON you should never replace that with stupid leds.

My new (2023) runs max. 160 Kmh. in 6e Gear... is that normal? 🤔
No absolutely not. It should get up to 200 no
Problem. Is it restricted? In that case that’s possible
@@Spacchio 200.. with 12000 Engine Touring...? 😱 than the Engine explode...😏

Yes I know you. I watched many of your videos on the sv650. 👍
@@Spacchio Thanks man. I am glad you decided to buy one.
No offense, but I hope you got a hefty discount for opting for that color scheme.
Why? I used to love it
why this bike instead mt07 ??
