    The Nation owes these selfless people who stayed in the bush, starved, abondoned families and were killed for this Zimbabwe.
    The Word Dissident was very unfortunate to have been used and labeled by those who did not believe in Nkomos great Ideologues
    May these heroes be remembered and ackowledged whilst they are still alife.

    • @zimflame2368
      @zimflame2368 4 роки тому +2

      True, but the way the dissidents showed their disapproval of what was happening in the new government was wrong, they let their egos get the best of them and worse they attacked white people because they knew there was an agreement by the government to protect the whites, so that was meant to break that agreement and get the government in trouble with the British, basically undermining the progress of what everyone fought for. I think they were probably wishing all whites had to be driven out as Nkomo had wished, so it was all a mess shame. Mugabe also forgot that they had promised the people that if they sacrificed their kids they would get the land so the dissatisfied had a right to be angry, then 10 years later the whites were not prepared to sell the land and blacks had waited enough to have it. Then Mugabe says he had noticed that they were inheriting a structure that could not survive had all whites left, which is true, so I don't know. We have no choice but to heal. It's the only way out. We have learnt what conflict brings

Look at the Acholi dance and isitshikitsha and Hosana/wosana of the Kalanga and Tswana Nations, Masai Dance, not jump and Xhosa or Tswana. Acholi women dance and Shangaan/Tsonga Xibelani. Now you see what has been hard for you to accept and acknowledge all these years that putting zanu in power was the worst mistake of your lives? How do you feel now it has finally dawned zanu has been using you from the start to date for their own personal gain?when others were crying you thought you were safe look look now...your zanu ancestors are showing you flames and its your turn to cry... @@ishmaeldube5733 me is pure Ndebele with so called royal blood but that's besides the point, and the Matabeleland people as of many other peoples of the world have mixed people in their oneness which is accepted and is common sense, the marginalisation and impoverishment coz of being separated coz of our tribes has been the reason life has been hard for Matabeleland people, being specially and specifically separated from under zim umbrella for genocide and abuse has been the greatest betrayal by our shona comrades after fighting for independence together, so we can fight together to dislodge white colonialism but when its time to enjoy the fruits of independence you put yokes on us and put us under shona colonialism is that proper? As we all know Zipra had shona fighters showing openly that zim had come to maturity and could face the world as grown ups so the zanu propaganda that Ndebeles and shonas hate each other sown into zim people by mgabe and zanu even today is a lie and its evil, zim people are educated and know the truth but have allowed zanu to destabilise the country for their political selfishness for power at all costs, destroying Nkomo and Ndebeles coz of fear of competition wanting to turn Zim into a Zanu Shona exclusive club, its about time zim people united as they did to dislodge white oppression and do the same to this evil called zanu so there is peace and prosperity once more, zim is for all that are in it Ndebeles and Shonas so Ndebeles also have a right to be allowed to enjoy the fruits of independence they also fought for without harassment and political persecution, they also belong to zim as well, if the question be asked where Shonas come from since they always enjoy telling Ndebeles to return to SA do the same Shonas know where they originated from? And dont say Zim coz when the shona arrived in Zim they found the San there who are the original inhabitants so calling Ndebeles immigrants in their country also calls for the same title for Shonas as they are also immigrants in that light and Zim is not their as they wish to make themselves believe, otherwise they must return to the far east or wherever it is they came from, otherwise Ndebeles have a closer claim to Zim as they are just but a stones throw away from SA,
      So you see this stupidity its my country not yours doesn't make sense and can only be propagated by your so called divide and rule tactic of those who mistakenly have found themselves in power ,
      Ndebeles and Shonas are one and should live in Zim in peace together, spilling of blood and hating each other whilst the country descends into greater decay doesn't help anyone, it is what has caused the ongoing judgement in Zim, look now how many die hard shona zanu supporters have run away from Zim same way they chased many Ndebele people even flooding the same SA they always say Ndebeles must return to showing that something is amiss upstairs, i think Shonas must wake up now and smell the coffee,40years going on like this has there been any success and progress for Zim seeing the aftereffects which is political hardship,unemployment, record inflation and corruption levels that even when diamonds were added to the mineral wealth of Zim the same diamonds no one seems to know were they are going and they failed to help stabilise the economy, our neighbours Botswana must be shocked and laughing at us, with all the mineral wealth and rich land Zim is now one of the poorest countries in the world yet we claim to be the most educated country in Africa, we are lying to ourselves, when mgabe came off his beloved post we celebrated only to find his replacement as more of the same meaning its not an individual troubling Zim people its the whole zanu bunch policy and political shallow mindedness that must be removed to end Zims dilemma and for rejuvenation to start, wasting time fighting whilst the country is sinking doesn't make sense coz at the end of the day both Shonas and Ndebeles will continue to suffer the economic decline, the only people making a killing in Zims condition is the zanu party and their connected friends and families the rest are singing the blues,Zim people cant allow this hostage crisis to continue its 40 years now getting old without any hope from zanu but fake promises and lies whilst they enjoy making our hearts sick, we need to exhibit the maturity that we have and take charge of the situation coz at the end of the day politicians are employees given a position of trust as custodians of which since they have over underperformed its time Zim people fired them there's too many able replacements.

    Mugabe was fed up by being bothered by ANC leaders and he resorted to arresting them. Thabo Mbeki was arrested on false charges on his way to a meeting with Mugabe, he was kept at Kami prison during Gukurahundi, many ANC cadres were accused of sponsoring dissents or of being dissidents themselves.
    Many MK cdes were killed around Bulawayo by the Mugabe government, many were deported to Botswana and South Africa. The ANC was very angry at Mugabe to an extent that Mandela had to say that Mugabe didn't want him released from jail.
    Kenneth Kaunda sort Mugabe's help in resolving the South African conflict, he wanted negotiations to take place between ANC and apartheid government, Mugabe had good relations with South Africa at the time but Mugabe refused to entertain such an idea.

      good idea if done sincerely, not as a means of indoctrination which is the reason many Zipra fighters found it hard to continue under such a dark minded gvt, if the truth be told , they treated their Zipra comrades in arms like children and after they saw their embarassing programme had not worked they still continued trying to force it on the fighters which provoked resentment and hostilities and mistrust btw those that should have ended up as best friends after dislodging colonial rule together, the propaganda against Zipra is shocking and misplaced and those who accept that zanu trash have themselves to blame, Zipra was probably the best platform Zim could have used for a better outcome unlike the zanu gvt that has presided over economical and political downward spiral that is forcing even die hard shonas who used to love zanu with all their souls to flee their beloved country coz of poverty,hardships and unemployment.
      Zipra had shona fighters who even were highly esteemed by J Nkomo and they also highly esteemed Father Zimbabwe (AKA) , Nkomo himself had many shona supporters but as usual zanu downplayed all that beautiful foundation for what should have been essential for greater camaraderiship in events after independence, zanu thick poisoned skulls and their politics of darkness have destroyed zimbabwe. Zanu has separated Zim people for lack of vision and understanding of how to be good leaders and all they have now is lies and excuses which cant feed the populations wallowing in poverty all over Zim.

      Shonas are so greedy and selfish, after combining forces with Ndebele army and fighting off colonial abuse and winning, when it was now time to share in the independence they quickly turned on Ndebeles, how pathetic, to date they are failing to run the country coz of gross mortgage incompetence and gross mismanaged, zapu properties were forcefully taken away and stripped of all value and to date the shonas are refusing to return them, how greedy are these people?
