To me, the music depicts a soul who takes steady, yet erratic steps on a stairway to a higher plane. Sometimes the notes reach out to extend high, risking a chance to progress faster on their ascension; and sometimes they retract lower on the scale after being humbled by their failures; sometimes they play in octaves, like pairs of friends who are also on a similar journey, helping each other build something more grand than what solitude can offer.
That is a really cool way of interpreting the music. To me, the repeated D at the beginning feels like water droplet falling down and hitting. And in the middle section, the movement of the mid voice sounds like a river to me, moving forward.
@@baole4213 Well since watatsumi island is an artificial island made for people who lived underwater there whole lives its ocean themed so i can understand that feeling
About halfway through learning this piece, the huge jumps at 1:17 on the right hand are tricky to consistently get right. Other than that, a challenge, but possible (still learning) . Great work on this, I love listening to it here and cant wait to listen to what else is on your channel.
