    I had my daughter at a VERY young age. My fear for my daughter was to follow in my foot steps. I learned that having a open and honest environment is the key, I never lied or made her feel uncomfortable about discussing sex, peer pressure, drugs etc,,,My daughter is 22 now getting her BA in the medical field and no children. Just be loving and honest with your children

      @Frugality then again we have some moms out there who really try their best to raise their kids right, but some of them are just too difficult to handle. There are moms who are poor role models for their children, but their children look beyond that and come out to be something good. No matter how good of a parent you are if the kid wants to be bad you can't stop them.

      not true kids have their own mind , parents can talk to their children until their faces turn blue , rebellion will set in and they do what they want regardless I have a 16 yr old I know!!! her mom feelings was hurt and yes she over reacted a little but 💯 to mom dukes I be feeling like doing the same thing sometimes I don't think she did anything wrong , wait until you have a daughter that's 16 or etc. those years are crucial to a parent .

      +The Lea Rae Show I know right..you can teach and raise your child the right way but teenagers are going to do what they want behind your back..parents don't have control over what their kids do behind their backs

  • @creolela

    First off . Parents need to stop BULLYING their kids on social media to " teach them discipline " that's not teaching them right from wrong that's embarrassing your child & bullying your child . People should raise their kids better than this , this isn't disciplining them . This is bullying & will cause mental issues maybe even suicide . Parents keep trying to follow this trend to record and post . If you're gone do it , do it behind closed doors or maybe even try talking to them .

    My parents spanked me when I was younger, and it didn't teach me anything. Sure, I wasn't disobedient but it was because I was afraid not because I learned anything. When I get older and have kids, I'll never hit them. I don't know any other alternatives, but I know it's possible to discipline without physical pain.

    • @Wwumzymumzy
      @Wwumzymumzy 8 років тому +30

      And then these parents love to come out and tell me that it hurts them to spank more than it hurts the child. Bullshit! Parents who spank are parents who either don't know anything else that works or value obedience over free will and critical thinking. I would teach my child rather than beat them into blind obedience.

    • @Wwumzymumzy
      @Wwumzymumzy 8 років тому +22

      +No Madge if people can train dogs, which we can't even speak with, to behave without violence then why can't you do the same with a child.

    • @MissTeaq
      @MissTeaq 8 років тому +9

      I feel you... I stopped spanking my daughter and sometimes I feel like she pushes it because she knows that I don't want to do that but I'm like you too big for me to be going through all that... If you ain't got it by now, best of luck. But it's enough violence in the world with out me adding to it.

      Because they are narcissist. Google it. My mother is one and she would've posted my beatings online if social media was around in the 90s. Instead, she just called and told everyone that she beat me so they could make fun of me when they saw me. I had to start wearing long sleeves to school to cover the cuts because she had me afraid to go into CPS custody. Narcissists only care about themselves and the mothers are jealous of their daughters. That's why they beat the shit out of them.

  • @TerriBerri0616

    I am all for whooping a child, but this is abuse! Straight up. Momma looks young herself, so this displaced anger is probably coming from her frustrations with being a young mother. I've gotten COUNTLESS woopens growing up, but never not once did the fist come out. I don't care how angry you are at your child. You never get that emotional to where you fight them as though they are your equal. And then to post it on the Internet????????? Now u KNOW child services are googling both their Gram accounts right now. Be smart when disciplining your children people. Woopens can be helpful, but not when the world can spectate

    There's discipline and then there's abuse. A lot of people don't seem to know the difference. Furthermore, teenage girls having sex is usually because of a lack of love in their lives especially from a father figure, or sexual abuse or low self esteem. It's never anything that a beating can fix.

I would NEVER let my mom know I'm in the streets like that even as an adult! And these new kids want the goodies at like age 8. What's in the river water?

      If parents took more interest in what their kids are doing on the internet, most of the thing that are happening on there wouldn't. I feel that the parent had every right to do what she did but I think airing it will hurt her possibly. We need more parents like this in the world because these kids are making Facebook into Thotsville and that's real talk

      +Glen Hughes What would hurt the child is if she is raped by putting herself into high-risk situations. Putting on herself out there like that could make her a target for predators, STDs, HIV, and more. it's hard to feel bad for someone who knows better... however, both were wrong.

    You shouldn't be assaulting your kid just cause she's having sex. Plenty of people were tucking at her age including you. If you want to prevent your kids from having sex or getting pregnant then talk to them, explain o then why you don't want them to have it and then move on. You can't stop a rebellious teen from doing what they want to do. Just be there for your kid and make sure they have the protection they need.
    You'll be surprised how many teens will listen to their parents advice if you just talk to them and have an open dialogue with them.

      I'm a mother of 6 girls, and they all act JUST like me, why ?? because they mimic everything I do simply because I'm mom and they think everything mom does it correct. A child is like a sponge at an early age, everything we do they wanna do because we're the parent. The way we talk ,the way we dress, the way we dance, any anger issues we may have, get soaked up by our children, everything they see us do. I'm not an idiot, she didn't just pick up that type of behavior at school or while out with her other friends. If she has friends who dress like that and sleep with their boyfriends at that age and whatever else, she will most likely have already got it in her mind that it's alright. If you can't see the attention her mother was hoping to gain from posting this disgusting behavior then you're just blind !! Look, she posts fight videos right ? Well her mother posted a video of her beating the shit out of her daughter as if she were fighting some random chick who pissed her off..then posed out and fixed her hair smirking in the camera. WHO does she get her attitude from ? Her mother !! I have no problem taking blows from the internet while I debate. But I am allowed my opinion and I shared it, if you don't agree with me, that's your choice, but heed my words, if you dress like this momma dresses and act the way she does, you just make sure to check your sweet child's backpack before she leaves for school, she might just be stashing some sexy clothes to change into....

Here is mom who does not want her daughter to go down the wrong road but clearly needs some guidance on how to handle the situation. Anyone who supports this is supporting abuse and humiliation of children. This video will never go away. I am sure this mom and her daughter do not want to see this going viral. Who wants to see their worst moment played over and over again for the world to see????

      I'm not talking about shame. I'm talking about humiliation. This mother has invited all the people that her daughter knows on Facebook, to witness her daughter being violently punched by her own mother. Not only that, but the ugliness spewing out of her mother's mouth is a disgrace!!
      Her mother is apparently not feeling any shame for the public spectacle she has made of her daughter. And like many beaten and abused children, she apologizes to her mother for something a loving mother would never have done.

      +Katara Grey So I guess posting a video disciplining her child is also ok. And it's scorching in Philly, but I wouldn't have my child see me wearing short shorts. Shorts are fine, but her ass is close to showing. That's not self respect. And parents need to stop posting videos of them beating their children, otherwise, suicide is next. They stoop to the child's level instead of doing things privately.

    I am older than most of you and I was raised with old fashion whipping but my parents never hit me with their fist or degraded me. I don't regret one whipping that I got I probably deserved more and there is no two people I respect more than my parents. I didn't raise my two with spankings just grounding. A lot of this type of beatings was passed down from parents though. I am glad I didn't do that. Beating her kid like that will run her into the first guy's arms that shows her a little attention. It will also teach her that it is ok to be hit. It will take a lot to build her self confidence and self worth back up after being beat and hit in the face.

      I think thats what she trying to do. you have some bad ass kids out there that are just right down rebellious no matter what you do to them. she have not done more then i have done to mines. a belt dont hurt these tough ass kids these days. hell she didnt hurt her hot ass. and i may add i gave my kids a lot of love and they tell everyone that, but i had one girl that just didnt give damn, i raised them up in church did all i could for them. I went from a belt to my got damn fist, and yes she learn the hard way. but today she is 26 she has a good job buying her own house and she always tell me mom i know i was so hard headed but i thank you for loving me and showing that them streets aint nothing and she doing good. I cant speak for all parents cause there are some sorry ones out there. but i feel this lady is trying. If she wasnt , she would not have posted this on face book, maybe this is a way of trying to make her child stop doing what she is doing wrong. but back in the day my ass got beat with cords ,belts, switches , all my siblings did , my mom and dad wasnt going im still here breathing, we all are. but now you even think about getting a belt or popping they ass, here comes 911 and dhs to the house. and you wonder why they getting locked up, going to prison, dropping out of school and shit. the government wants to control you and your household. But let me add some parents dont know how to discipline there kids , and you find them in the ER TRUMA UNIT NEARLY DEAD FROM BEING BEAT THE WRONG WAY. PEOPLE NEED TO STOP JUDGING OTHERS FOR HOW THEY RAISE THERE KIDS , UNLESS YOU CAN DO IT YOUR SELF DONT JUDGE. I USE TO TELL A PERSON IF YOU DONT LIKE THE WAY I AM DISCIPLINE MY KIDS YOU TAKE THEY ASS HOME AND RAISE THEM THAN, CAN I GET A AMEN. BUT ONLY GET THE ONES WHO ARE NOT RAISING THEM RIGHT, OR THEY ARE BEING NEGLECTED. AND MOM PLEASE PUT THAT CHILD ON SOME BIRTHCONTOL PILLS OR YOU GONE HAVE SOME LITTLES ONES RUNNING THE HOUSE .

    • @ladysiren457

      you can raise your child right and this can still happen. the fact is she did this video because if her daughter can post after sex pictures on her fb in her house then the mom can post what happens when she gets caught. yes this might be considered abuse but think about how would you react to finding out your daughter is sneaking boys in to YOUR house to have sex and then she POSTS ABOUT IT ON SOCIAL MEDIA. anyone would have spazzed the way she did. i know i would. as for her going to jail, i dont think that will happen

      Her daughter embraced her so she embraced her daughter. Too many girls online act like this one hear. They act without thinking. And it makes them look a certain way.
      Again imagine it was your daughter who did that to you. Don't say it wouldn't happen. Teenagers have their own mind and do whatever they put their mind to and sometimes bad choices are made. In reality, the way society is, this can be anyone's daughter. The mother believed her response who get through to her daughter and it probably did.

I'm all for disclipling children but the shit that gets uploaded is fucking ridiculous. This is why we need more FATHERS in their child's lives. The thing is though. Not all fathers are good ones. I had a father in my life and he wasn't even the kind of father that he was supposed to be. Some times it's better when the father is not in the child's life and sometimes it is. From my experience since my dad is not in my life anymore it was a better decision to stay with my mom. But the mom shouldn't have been hitting her daughter like that. There's a fine line between discipline and abuse. The problem is not a lot of parents talk to their child which is something that they should be doing in the first place. At least when you heard about it all ready you know that you should prevent from what happened to the parent to happening to you or just in any kind of topic that the parents speaks of the child should know they have to do anything to prevent it from happening. I'm not all in for abuse or beatings like that. I feel like lecturing (which is worse than a beating) is more effective than laying your hands on a child.

    • @DeeLishish0991

      ***** I've seen them. Those were not fathers in my eyes, they're just as bad as this mom. When I say father, I mean someone who tells his child they are beautiful and guides them. It's disheartening to see so many kids without a father figure in their lives. I grew up as an only child with both parents married. The sad fact is I see more guys concerned with Jordans but don't care about their kids. I also know mothers who sell their food stamp cards in order to get bundles of hair. Some of these parents aren't like how it used to be.

    Like I said before the slaps and outing her for this is fine. Mom was wrong with the hooks, uppercuts, jabs, and all that. I agree that she needs to sit her down and have an open discussion about pregnancy, safe sex, and ESPECIALLY HAVING BOYS IN HER HOUSE. Whether he was in her house or not, just to set the tone. My Momma didn't play that neither...I did it anyway, I was a kid too. She cannot keep her daughter from having sex it is human nature and she is growing up but she can be educate her about the consequences that comes with having sex. Once again, when mom turned into Balrog from Street Fighter V, she was 100% WRONG.

We do have authority over them because we are their parents and "protectors" but WE DON'T own them--God Does! There's so much wrong here---I don't know where to start. I can't believe the comments! We have a lot of work to do People-especially if you feel like this is alright. You don't mistreat or beat what you hold near and dear to your heart. My heart breaks for this family. Like Mama, like Daughter. I see plainly where that girl gets her "thotism" from. I highly doubt that the Mom has been a good example or has taught her kid anything worthwhile leading up to this point. The foul language & the way the Mom is dressed says a lot. I don't know why some parents think that their kids are supposed to "automatically" turn out good, decent & respectful - as if they don't have any responsibility in making them that way. That girl has probably been raising herself. Yes....this Mom is abusive.

    Parent's should not beat and embarrass their kids on TV or any video - it is damn evil. Back years ago you never heard of parent's trying to put disciplining their child in public especially when the whole world can see and it will later taunt and haunt that child. These parents are pure demonic dong this and they are deceiving themselves that they have a right to do this. God is going to get these hideous parents. Someone needs to whip the ass of these parents doing these things on TV.

I just think mom let her emotions get the best of her instead of praying on it & talking to her daughter honestly & openly. there are a lot of young girls doing this in which i think reality tv stars such as joseline hernandez, the internet, social media, music, movies etc... for example are showing these girls the wrong way to go about respecting theirselves. the body is a temple, & we must teach our young women that knowledge is power. Get knowledge, and you will respect yorself first!

Perhaps I am just an ignorant old white lady,but I cried for this girl and I never laid a hand on my children in anger. I just don't understand,I just cannot accept this. It is abuse....my daughter and I (as well as my son) are kind to each other because I raised them with loving support and demonstrated how to behave. Lovely Ti you are indeed lovely inside and out. • @shaynec3517

    I agree 100%. That's definitely about more than disciplining her daughter. I know a few mothers who were jealous of their daughters, and purposely set them up to fail, including my own. Also, If she was being the mother and example she's supposed to be, her daughter wouldn't have been out there like that in the first place. And where was dad? It's his job to put his foot down when stuff gets ri-damn-diculous. That FB page should have been shut down after the first racy post. Then, they should have burned all of that thot gear that she shouldn't have had in the first place.

      that's the problem with people, they think because you give birth that the child is your property. That was abuse, also just because for decades parents have been whooping their children doesn't make it right. It means parents don't have the balls to actually sit down and teach their kids anything, explain anything, or be anything. Especially blacks we think whatever we say goes and we don't owe our kids any explanation or respect. They grow up and treat their children and others in a detached hateful way. We expect them to know what we didn't teach, understand the things we don't explain, because in this shitty world we don't own anything and have no power we take it out on defenseless children treating them like property, and the cycle continues.

    This is a big trend for black women and I don't understand. I think it's them trying to show how "good" of a parent they are and that they have control of their children. Im a black woman my self and I've seen this in our woman and I don't understand why. That doesn't make you look like a good parent, that doesn't attract men, it's not a good look at all. Treat your kids right. They came from you, they are part of you.

Where I've seen black woman over disciplining their children to make themselves seem like "good" parents and that they have "control" of their children.

    • @HeyItsSunshyne
      @HeyItsSunshyne 8 років тому

      +Bethsaida Romelus yes because we should go straight to physical violence, no, there's nothing wrong with getting a whooping her or there but if you're beating your child. That's too far and that's my opinion. And to add on to that my original comment was meant as black women who do it in public as to be seen as "good parents" and that they have "control" over there children. I've been in many situations where I've seen black woman who are overly aggressive with their child and will hit them or push them and then look towards me or say something of how "they know how to keep their child in line" like I'm supposed to applaud them or something. No it's not all black women but they aren't isolated incidents.

They are posed in suggestive positions, cursing, talking about the "bae" or that "boo" it's sad. 16 year Olds should be babysitting and trying to work during the summer not posing in towels and posting the latest fight video. Kids these days don't even have a curfew or time to be home. Their parents give them keys to a car and send them out into the world to be adults skipping the stages of childhood. I'm not saying this video was completely right but I applaud the fact that she cared enough to do something to teach her that "thotism" is not cute. That's what wrong with teens today, the mothers ( not all) are busy trying to relive their youth and trying to be their kids friend instead of being a responsible parent smdh 🍵🐸

    u know whats so funny? mothers advocate this behavior all the time, from a young age, unconsiously, putting their daughters in short shorts, tights and leggings, telling them to do little grown poses when taking pics, telling them to dance to songs with sexual undertone etc etc...black women have a history of over sexualizing their selves and their daughters, yet another horribly awful habit/ survival tactic that lingers in us from slavery. I am rewatching this video. And the part where you're talking about hitting daughters in the face really spoke to me Ti. I feel like you're 100% correct in there is a jealousy thing in the mothers against their daughters still being young, and beautiful. I don't think I'm amazingly beautiful, but my momma had me really young, and I feel like every time we had our fights, she would always look at me like I was just this girl she was gonna bully in school. Thank you so much for saying that, I thought I was crazy when I was younger.

      Poor parenting has everything to do with how children behave. I don't care if it's two parents, single mom or single dad. I was married at a young age and I am now a single mother. Unfortunately, I left the father because of his abuse. But guess what, my kids are well behaved and they still love me and their father. I talked to my kids about everything, if they ask me a question I tell the truth. Also, my kids don't see me dressed like the last in this video, they never see me get high, they never see me drink alcohol and I even avoid cursing around them. And being young is no excuse either, I had my first child at 19 years old.

    @ohgee2350 8 років тому +12

    You're damned if you do... Damned if you don't.... Your kids run around acting like fools, you get blamed for it, because, "Their parents don't discipline them....don't teach them how to act".... You discipline them, and you are wrong for going too far.... I mean,...don't get me wrong,...she certainly could have handled this better..... But then again, who am I to tell you how to raise your kid?.... Hypocrites will look at this video and say this lady is wrong, needs counseling, or should be locked up..... But then when these "bad kids" go out in the streets and act like fools, and get shot and killed by the police they "deserve what they got for being thugs".... So it's okay for police to kill these kids for acting like fools, but it's not okay for parents to beat them for acting like fools..... Like I said to start with, You're damned if you do... Damned if you don't......

    • @Redrumydoolbredrum

      It's not the discipline, it's the other shit surrounding it. Discipline doesn't require getting on Facebook live in booty shorts and a tight shirt with your titties hanging out. She can say what she wants, but the daughter got that crap from HER. There was no issue with the hoe-ish pics the daughter had before. The problem only came when the daughter posed with her boyfriend. I'm sorry but the behavior didn't come from nowhere. Nine times out of ten she got that from the mother and now the mother's 'embarrassed.' That's a load of shit.

      Because if you raised your kids right, they would never dream of disrespecting you. IF you beat your children and treat them badly, they will turn on you and shit on your values. It's always the parents' fault, because parents are responsible for a child's personality and environment.

    • @ohgee2350
      @ohgee2350 8 років тому

      Always?... Nah.... Always is too.....definite. We are all wired differently, and all deal with things differently.... Some kids can grow up in an orphanage. Some because their parents died. So, through no fault of their own, said parents leave their kids to grow up without parents. These kids can grow up and do great things with their lives.... They can make a difference in the world, and help others.... While some that come from "good homes" can end up messed up.... Some grow up in the church, with "good parents" who are pastors or ministers.....and still go down the wrong path...... So no,....not always....

    What this female (not mother or woman) did was reprehensible, and I truly hope someone forwarded this video to the authorities. There is no excuse for beating (not whooping or spanking) a child. I don't care what that child did. If this female had mothered her child the way should have, then maybe she would have to go Ninja on her today.
    To not only beat her, but to proudly share this on social media in order to humiliate her child makes her evil and not worthy of being called a mother. How dare she! Social media has become a way of people to exploit others and to share positivity or negativity. Unfortunately, a lot think sharing deplorable things like this is going to make their video viral, and unfortunately, it will.
    People claim they want an end to violence, but they really don't. The media is the conduit that projects all these ungodly videos around the clock. BTW, I did not and will not view this video.
    For those excusing this cretins behavior, you are wrong, and if you treat your children the way this female did, then you are a failure too. If you want to be a good parent, you cannot be lazy. Parenting take skill, patience, love and understanding, and if your resort is to beat your child (if you don't know the difference between discipline and beating, then I suggest you find out), then you need not have children. Period.

    After skimming through the video I couldn't even watch the whole thing. it sickens me to the core that parents feel the need to post their means of discipline of their child online. PARENTS STOP POSTING HOUSE BUSINESS ON SOCIAL MEDIA. It vexes me something serious. As parents we are to discipline with order and purpose without inciting wrath. Her purpose was not to correct but to embarrass her daughter which will cause a deep anger to her mom. She allowed her daughter to be provocative online without her supervision all this time but until she appears to have sex that when she wants to correct. She should have corrected the behavior a while ago. Then to imply that a parent would not do what she does for her WTF!!! It's called being a parent and doing what you supposed to do and what any parent should do. The parent did the very same thing the daughter did and that was for attention and likes. I agree with LovelyTI all the way from the appearance of the momma looking like the daughter, to the momma should have talked to the daughter about sex and social media before this. Daughter right back up posting provocative stuff so what has the daughter learned? Just to be sneakier so she doesn't get caught instead of not doing it.

    I think this is bad parenting at its finest. 1) why did it need to be broadcasted to the world
    2) who punches their own child
    3) this is bullying which leads to suicide
    4) what's beating her period going to do? After the beating she's going to have sex or do whatever she did again so you might as well just talk to her.
