Rather, those two words are cognates, aka basically the same word which evolved to sound slightly different. Deus and Zeus share common origin, in other words they derive from the same proto-Indoeuropean word for God. It is later that the Greek version started being used as a name specifically for one of the deities in Greek Panteon, but that’s not its origin nor its meaning. Zeus just means God, etymologically speaking. And btw English word God has nothing to do with Deus nor Zeus, it has a completely different origin and etymology, not related to these two.

Many Japanese living in Malaysia who are non Muslim also learning fasting during the month of Ramadan. They want to experience and learn how muslim doing fasting and they even break their fast in the mosque. Islam doesn't force people to convert but if you feel Islam is the religion of peace you are welcome because that is your choice...reading Quran is better than meditation because you can gain knowledge while meditate....

It was not Muhammad (peace be upon him) who wrote the Quran, it was certainly revealed to him but he recited it to his companions and some of them who knew how to read and write, wrote down what he said

Yes the prophet said, everyone is born as a Muslim believing in one God( muslim in Arabic means the one who surrender and submit his will to God ) but their parent then influence him/her to be either a Christian or another denomination, sussesful is the one who revert.

I think fasting is perfect for instilling discipline. When you know you can have something, but you refrain for the sake of Allah. Whilst fasting, you notice food tastes so much better when you have fasted all day.

Fasting is one of the pillars of faith in Islam. So it is compulsory for whoever is able to fast to do so.
اللهمّ لك الحمد كلّه، ولك الشكر كلّه، وإليك يرجع الأمر كلّه علانيّته وسرّه، فأهل أنت أن تحمد، وأهل أنت أن تعبد، وأنت على كلّ شيءٍ قدير.
