Really enjoyed this one and how great to see Kazachstan in this light, wonderful.people❤ I do wonder when you're longing back to boring roads when the real climbing begins😂
The people are amazing! They really make for a wholesome experience going through their country 😀 hahaha 🤣 There have definitely been days since when I wished it was flat, that's for sure 🤣
I couldn't either, everyday there were numerous people stopping and offering help. It was such an amazing place to cycle through 😃 It helped to speed up the sunburn on the back of my head for sure 🤣 take care buddy 🙂
Wow - the people seem so nice in Kazakhstan! I could tell you were a bit moved by their generosity at one point - I'd be the same, and I bet it really kept your spirits up when the riding itself was so uneventful. I think I'll add KZ to my cycling bucket list! It's amazing how far you have managed to get...I'm loving following your adventure mate!
Oh it was so heartwarming. It was really moving at that point (if you mean the teahouse) as I felt like someone was looking after me through the desert as every time I thought I needed something, someone would pull over and offer help. The generosity felt so surreal and I have the highest respect for Kazakh people 🙂 Thank you so much buddy! It's strange how you chip away at the distance each day and end up so far away haha 🙂 I hope you're keeping well!
@@Geocycling1993 I'm good ta mate! No more bike adventures booked for now though - we're soon to move house so I'm very busy - but I'll be much closer to work so I'll be able to cycle in, which will be nice 👍No more M6 traffic jams for me!
@iamjoestafford Ah fair enough buddy! Moving house is an adventure of its own. I'm happy that you can cycle to work now, it's such a nice way to wake up in the morning, much better than the M6 🤣 I hope your move goes smoothly and you enjoy being in your new place when you get there mate 🙂
Awesome! I remember that Ed Pratt really cinnected with Kazahkstan on his unicycling round the world adventure. Seems like you are having an amazing experience. Enjoy and well done! 🎉
Oh yeah I remember him having a good time going through. I can see why, the people are amazing and so hospitable! I will miss cycling through Kazakhstan 😲 Thank you 😀
What a friendly country I wish England was like that. Hats off to you riding that heavy bike I have trouble getting up hills on my racing bike these days 🤪one good thing you will be going faster now the beards been trimmed 🤣congratulations on the 1000 subs 👍 keep safe
I agree, it's a shame we all don't help each other out as much 😔 hahaha thank you! I felt a bit wobbly with what was essentially a fish tank on the back of my bike 🤣 the trimmed beard definitely helped save at least 20wh of output 🤣 Thank you 😀
Such lovely people Jacob, you must attract them. Do you have an ETA for Thailand, we will be there in January, maybe we can say hello, although at this rate you will probably beat us to it! Ride safe :)
They were amazing people and they have made Kazakhstan my favourite country so far! Thank you 😀 hahaha 🤣 I don't know for certain yet, but I should definitely be somewhere in or near Thailand around that time. When I have made some progress through China then I should have a better idea when I'll be there. It would be lovely to meet you 🙂
@l0ner1der thank you so much 😀 they have been amazing so far!! The food is great here too 😀 Please do check in as it will be great to meet up! Keep well and look after yourself 🙂
Hahaha 🤣 I'll need to do some upper body training when I get back 🤣 I have mostly been ok, I lost a bit of weight in Uzbekistan as the food was not great and it made me and most people cycling through pretty ill after a while. But I put the weight back on when I crossed back into Kazakhstan as their quality of food is definitely a lot better and more nutritional 🙂

I cannot believe the generosity of the people there. What a hospitable place. Loving the new hair and beard brother. Hope it's improved your speed.

Ouch!
What a great video, what amazing people. Very impressed by the aero hair cut, that must have saved a few watts 😂. Well done and keep on trucking.
I agree, the people are amazing! Hahaha 🤣 A few watts and probably a few pounds in weight 🤣 Thank you so much 😀

The place seems full of the best kind of people!
The people of Kazakhstan were amazing 😀
You're gonna have legs like a Tour De France cyclist after this. Have you lost much weight ?
