She does the classic rnb styling with modern flow; you can't deny the roots in this-Evelyn "Champagne" King, Stephanie Mills, Aretha Frankin's "Jump"...but on its own this song just...goes! I did a house remix of it-the only DJ I think to have done so. But her original is flawless.
This proves that this woman could sing the phone book. If she could take this plebeian phrase and make sound like an aria... I could listen to her sing the bible.
