What a beautiful truck. The shading detail on the tailgate looks exceptional.
On the driveway parked next to it's younger cousin, I was astounded how small it looked. Shows how much things have got bigger.
I was a little disappointed that it was not shown how the rot on the roof above the windshield was repaired. I would have been interested in seeing that done. Stunning result though, a real head turner for all the right reasons.

very nice i looked for something in 60's for a stepside they were either really bad or way to much money so ended up with 81 in amazing shape had the body vaper blasted frame blasted and powder coated it's coming along but still would like to have something older someday great job on yours well done sir
i'm building a 68 with a 454 stroker with tunnel ram so far i have 1,300 in it all most ready for the road just need exhaust on it very clean truck with factory paint needs paint but i'm good still have the factory motor the 327 400 turbo set up and needs new wood in the box but putting all together first then will tare down and restore it have lots of these trucks working on another cab with no rust in it so i have 2 spare cabs
Hey Jeffrey, sounds like a great project to me. Ive built a few trucks like this myself. Four and working on a fifth to be exact and all have been a labor of love. You'll be excited and happy and disappointed all at the same time. You probably know these issues. So good luck with your build. It sounds like you got it off to a good start. Best of luck.

Pretty nice truck. . One thing you could do better is to tune up some of your door and other sheet metal gaps..

Hey I just bought a 1969 C10. I will be doing all the work myself just curious if you are open to sharing how much this build has cost so far? Is that a new crate engine or one you rebuilt?
Why not a real Ls6 from a 70 chevelle??? This one is like a asshole everybody's got one!!!!!!it's a nice truck I don't like the 2tone paint the motor &trans mirrors tail lights. Other than that it's OK
