“Go again” in league 2. Doncaster a league 2 team they will find it hard in league 1.

Cardiff fan. I needed a football fix, so I watched the game on Sky and, as a neutral, was thoroughly entertained. Congrats to Crewe, but well done, Doncaster, too. I know the feeling of both winning and losing in the playoffs. I also remember beating Leicester in a playoff semi-final, losing the final to Blackpool, and then watching Leicester win the Premier League a few years later. As they say, it's a funny old game.👏👍

Why can’t we have the scoreboard on these highlights? Especially during PKs. Takes away some of the drama, and the commentary isn’t always descriptive.

Crewe’s first…. three of their players were a yard offside. Doncaster defence did really well and pushed up catching all three including the player passed to offside. The commentator said. ‘ Long is onside’. Wtf….Watch it on the replay, clear offside when the ball was kicked through.

@@billbailey7193 That was the second goal and there is a Doncaster player in the middle clearly playing Long onside. I do think you had one definite penalty which isn't shown, the high boot in our box. The other was just outside the box so would not have been a penalty even with VAR.
@@alexredcloud ….Im not a Doncaster fan, before the season I had a sizeable bet on them to go up. 13/1. Before the match the online bookie offered me approximately 60% of what I would win to cash the bet in but I was so sure they’d get into the final I was going to take their improved offer when they reached the final. I was so convinced I didn’t even have a cover bet on Crewe. My girlfriend said take the money, you’re mad they may lose. I said no chance, they’ve got the best win record of any team in all four leagues for the last ten weeks of the season. They’re already 2-0 up, I can’t possibly lose…..😂😂

I have no skin in that game as I don't support either side but I thought Doncaster were hard done by. They should have had two penalties in open play. CA were lucky to get away with those. I thought the referees positioning for the penalty shoot out was poor for both sides and a distraction. He should have been further away and out of the field of view for the players taking the penalties.
