Thanks for your review! This is one book that I have in my TBR pile, but I just haven't had a chance to read yet. I'm waiting for more appropriate weather for the genre.

Thank you for watching, and haha I know what you mean about 'right weather' for gothic novels.

New subscriber here- I really like your reviews. Do you any have interest in any non-fiction books about Pakistan? I am looking to get into this region of the world and would like a good primer to start. Have you any thoughts on Pakistan: A Hard Country by Anatol von Lieven? Or any fiction you think would be a better introduction?

Thank you for subscribing. As for your question I do sometimes read non-fiction related to Pakistan but usually issue or community-specific research.
With regard to your objective it is hard to point toward a single book because much depends on the context (economic, historical, political etc). 'Pakistan- A Hard Country' is on my reading list, I'll definitely share my thoughts once I read it. As for fiction I've reviewed many on my channel but one with a particularly diverse perspective is 'In Other Rooms, Other Wonders' by Daniyal Mueenuddin. Bapsi Sidhwa's works and Muhammad Hanif's first two novels are also great.
