This video truly captures the beauty of cross-cultural experiences and the power of embracing diversity. It's incredible to see this young boy's journey to Afghanistan, immersing himself in the local culture, and learning firsthand about a country so often misunderstood. It's heartwarming to witness the genuine connections he formed with the locals and how warmly they welcomed him. This video serves as a beautiful reminder that despite our differences, there is always room for understanding, respect, and unity. Thank you for sharing this inspiring story!

Im an Indian muslim and even I can't believe how different Afghanistan is. Thank you Harry for checking out Afghanistan and contributing to the children. You have no idea how happy it made me feel after seeing you learning Persian, Dari, Pashto, Arabic and Urdu. Even though you didn't learn the languages fully, Im still grateful and happy for you trying to learn them and trying to communicate to the Afghani people.
Glad to see you enjoy Afghanistan! If anyone there treated you badly because of your religion, don't worry. Those types of people do not represent Islam. Especially the dude who refused to shake your hand. All who were hospitable and helpful to you truly represent our religion, for it is all about providing and helping others, regardless of their religion or ethnicity.
Also, even I get uncomfortable at seeing a goat be butchered. I just don't have the stomach for it lol.

The one who memorize the Quran was the best example of how to put the words of God in his heart and in his actions, there's no such thing as being harsh to people of people of other faiths, the Quran teaches the people of the book to come together and form an understanding, to smile at others and treat guests well, I love the kids that wanted to memorize the Quran as their ambition, as a 30 years old I am only trying to do this now, how intelligent these children to focus more on the eternal than the ephemeral life.

If someone Hindu or something goes there they wouldn't be such loving. Beautiful and clean? Bruh do you have eyes?? It's a barren desert with houses and streets like a wasteland. And can never agree with the woman situation that thing is really serious there. You can see few on the streets but majority are oppressed. And not to mention every kid is brainwashed to persue the same future as the Talibans and not do something productive. You can point out the good things ofcourse but you're defending the bad things too which is wrong

Those mortars being lobbed down on the base from the mountains are every bit as deadly. I was Air Force attached to an Army unit (82nd for half the deployment and 101st when they swapped out), when those outside the wire got into a bad situation, it was us "fobbits" sitting behind a desk that got them the air support they needed so they could get back to base safe. Although Air Force, I was attached to the Army that believes "Everyone is a soldier first," and did have to go outside the wire with them a few times. At the end of the day, regardless of what uniform you put on or what job you had, we all lined up side by side on the side of the road and saluted those flag draped coffins, as those that made the ultimate sacrifice began their final journey home.

In the Quran, Jesus is taken to heaven by God, but no record says mohammd is in heaven, not even the Quran.
There are 26 different arabic versions of quran( u can google it), which one is real?, means it's not word of God. Mohammd has disobeyed all commandments of God, which means he disobeyed God himself. Mohammd has killed, raped, did child marriage, married his sons wife, owned sex slaves and so on. Mohammd drastically died from poison, a very normal human. Even God didn't warn him and mohammd can't predict his future. Mohammd can't predict his own future, how will he predict his followers future?

With that attitude I see no difference toward Christian, Jewish or even Hindu or Buddhist faith. Not even a conflicting attitude compared to a basic and kind attheist. I'm convinced that conflicts are not caused by religious tensions or lack theirof. It's often that 'the others' are defined as a threat to one's culture or being seen as not worthy of being called civilized. And that is a constant thread on any war mongering side. I feel ashamed as a human being for wars existing in today's time, no matter where. And it's interesting and sad to witness how easily any party can justify their own indeed very evil actions, all for the "better good" or some of their special people worthy of more privilege. Long live the people of Afghanistan, no matter under what rule (hopefully under one where all the Afghans can more or less agree on).

It's important to remember, though, that the challenges faced by Afghanistan today aren't just due to the US involvement, but also the UK's participation in the bloody invasion. Also, the comment about feeling like stepping back 100 years really resonates - it’s a reminder of the lasting impact that foreign interventions have had on the country. Thanks for shedding light on these aspects and sharing your experience!

I’m an American that worked 2017-18 in Afghanistan trying to help rebuild their police force. I really had some good Afghan cops that were trying to do the right thing but trust and believe the government was the most corrupt organization I have ever seen and I worked in Iraq and Africa. The extorted everyone and crime was rampant along with kidnappings. It’s cool to see it getting better.
